just my thoughts.
something that will pop up or whatever that tells you if you have a message. i have always thought that useful and handy if you are playing and messaging back and forth at the same time. be hand insted of having to check your bio to see if you got one.
i may add more later.

Just to make sure I understand what you're suggesting, do you want a popup saying you have a new message, or the message itself to popup? I was planning on adding some form of notification that you have an unread message, but hadn't thought of popups. Hmm.

lol. i think it should be that you have a new message just cause like if you were logged off and you got say 5 messages. then that would be 5 things that would pop up.
i thought about that it would show at the top of the screen were it tells you things in blue letters(like when you sell something or whatever) but instead of it being blue it would be red/different color.

oh just thought of something. when a duel ends in a draw why is it that the person challenged gets gold? idk. i have always thought that draws would mean no player gains/loses gold nor do you find any items. exp i have always thought should be rewarded.
NooB question time!!*irritating music plays* When you duel someone and you lose dose the person you lost to get Exp?

No exp is gained for those you duel. Used to be that way, but then people just kept hitting their own alts to make sure that one of them gained the exp.
I believe the reason a tie goes to the challenged is that the challenger always gets the advantage of first hit. Sorta a balancing element. I'm considering changing that (quicker player strikes first), and if I do, this will likely end.

Cool! I'd love to have the quicker player strike first... Although rangers should still get first hit when attacking - just for realism's sake.

thought of another thing!
in the game we have our own shops right... well i think it would be cool if we could name our shops. even the little carts in the malls have little names. *shrugs* be a neat touch. and maybe a link on our bio page that will take people strait to your shop and what you have for sale.
lol. my brain is starting to hurt with all this thinking.

That (the link to our shop from the character page) is an interesting idea. I'd like that, if it's at all possible.

lol. Don't hurt yourself, ff. You're coming up with too many good ideas to stop now.
Might not be that hard to add. The page for the personal shop already exists, it'd just need modified so others could see it and not remove things, possibly buy them? My only concern is how much value does this add to things? I think people would be much more likely to search the marketplace for items they need rather than browsing through each individual shop for what they need.

On second thought, I think the usefulness of a personal shop would depend on two things: clan shops and direct deposit of cash. If we have both those things, and keep the current system of searching the entire Market, I think there wouldn't really be any need for "personal" shops. But. If we removed the whole market search engine, and made it a shop-by-shop thing (namely, you could go on the market and it would show you a list of all the character shops in the area, through which you could browse) it would make personally recognizable shops imperative. I think it would actually be an improvement on the current situation - for one thing, it would effectively create another Class of player: the Shopkeeper. Especially if we changed the way shopping transactions were made. What if each transaction in a personal shop had to be okay'ed by the shop-owner? Say, make it more like the direct trades between players we have now, except that the transaction could be initiated by the buyer, from the seller's shop. Does this sound viable at all?
P.S. sorry for hijacking your idea FF, but I just had some suggestions of my own....

lol hijack away! XD you most likely... actually.... you do know a lot more about the game and its workings and most of my "ideas" are more of a spur-of-the-moment comments of randomness! the whole idea of having the shopkeeper having to ok the buying of things made me think of the ability to maybe haggle for stuff? lmao. haggling is always fun XD well... i find it fun.

you could also work that into clans if you wanted as long as i can raid a clan shop now that would be amusing plus i suppose alliances could have discounts with trading etc etc and the money goes straight to the clan bank where it can be raided by moi

You make me blush, FF - I don't really know that much about the game....
Ally discounts would be a good idea, I think Kushiel. It would add another layer of desirability to alliances. After all, everybody would want to be allied with the clan that had the best stuff in their shop. I would want prices to be adjustable by the seller, though. that way we could have different prices for different Clans based on how much we liked them. Also, what if, instead of having Clan taxes on members, the clan bank would be filled by purchases from the Clan shop (as well as raiding other Clans treasuries, of course) kind of the way tariffs work?
