Tim - could you check to see if First Strike is broken? If it's not broke, then it seems nerfed pretty heavily. In general I like the speed changes (ok - 'like' may be too strong, but stun is now keeping things interesting), but it seems like I'm not seeing much effect from First Strike vs Speed. Previously the build strategy I'm using for a couple alts (low Speed, but high First Strike) would let me usually get in the first two hits. Now I generally don't get even the first hit let alone two of them - even against NPCs! (that's why I'm wondering if it's not just nerf'd but broken - I didn't think NPC's should be beating on me

Most of my estates now have Level5 Patrols and I haven't seen any items. I'm thinking that feature may be broken again

I can't create a 3rd character, I just get the message...
You already have 3 characters. Why not play with them?
Should there be a prove you're human check?

Not to worry, I was able to get this sorted from a work PC. It must be some cookie related issue on my home PC which was affecting both Firefox & Opera (didn't try IE as I hate it so).

I just got hit by the bug that causes all items to be lost. Poor Padan has lost his Ruby Dagger again (and lots of rare items ). Anyway - it happened as I left the clan. I'm pretty sure I accidentally hit the 'Yes' twice on the prompt to confirm I was to leave the clan. So that probably either caused it to submit a 'leave clan' when I wasn't in one or hit some kind of race condition. Also - after I lost all items (both normal inventory and consumables) some pages had errors (quest page for example) until I went and bought a few items.

Also - a pretty minor bug. Someone that's an enemy of my clan has apparently bought the shop upgrades that gives different pricing to enemies. The adjusted pricing shows up in the Market search, but not in the regular shop interface. (Though I don't think you can actually buy it at the lower price that is displayed).
I'm not sure if it was reported already, but there's also a bug with the scores reported after NPC battles in a wilderness area that touches two cities with clan battles going on (only one shows up). Duels seem to display properly in that situation (both show up).

Ah ha! That's it! Was just able to test and confirm that's what causes the inventory deletion glitch: When you leave a clan, there's a check to see if you have any clan items from the clan you're leaving and returns them. It then checks if you're the last person leaving and deletes all the items left in the vault. If you're not in a clan, it puts them all in dummy clan's vault and then since no one is in the dummy clan, deletes them all.
I will fix this bug tonite, even in the live version. Should a simple check to make sure you're in a clan before it does any of the leave clan stuff.
For NPC battles, you'll have earned the same points in both battles so it only displays once. Duels could be different, depending on who's battling who in the 2 clan battles.

For NPC battles, you'll have earned the same points in both battles so it only displays once. Duels could be different, depending on who's battling who in the 2 clan battles. It was a battle where SL had one in Caemlyn, and Hand of the Light had one in Far Madding. So an SL win in Caralain was giving SL +6 in Caemlyn, and our ally HotL +3 in Far Madding. However, it was only displaying +3 for the Far Madding battle. If it helps, I think it was dislpaying that one because it was called a second or two before Caemlyn's.

When I look at my equipment under the inventory tab, it gives my knives a point value of 277. However, when I try to enhance them with the wise woman in Tanchico, she lists them with a base value of 286 points (point total prior to enhancement with the ter'angreal--331 afterwards, if that matters). I do not have any knife bonuses at all, no point % discount for them. I don't understand why there's a discrepancy. All of my gear is 100% repaired.

There could be a clan/city upgrade bonus affecting knife usage...? sorry I can't verify that right now - server is down...

Lugard Commerce Grounds Lowers costs for businesses locally by 10% Lowers costs for businesses globally by 5% This upgrade is actually causing business costs to be increased instead of decreased (pretty sure both locally and clan wide). No wonder EC didn't try very hard to keep it, the city's broken!

Yeah pretty sure that was fixed before.. But so was Patrols and the nonclassified herbs/drinks. Did you maybe use the wrong codebase for some changes you did later? Seems like maybe you forked the code to work on something and didn't merge in all the beta fixes..

Still having trouble with Quest creation. I set up a Clan quest in Fal Dara, 3 offers, 5g each. The coin was deducted, but the Quest didn't appear in the My Quests list, and someone confirmed for me that it's not present in FD's offerings...
