I got a couple ideas while I was reading other suggestions. I don't know if they've already been suggested or not though since I haven't read the entire forum.
I still like the first idea, but you can decide if either has any merit.
- The first is a possible reward for a quest. Since you're helping a town in need, instead of getting gold or an item, maybe you could get extra points in that town. For instance, say this town is having problems with trollocs in this specified area, kill 10 trollocs and get x2, (or more) town wins for your clan.
Naturally, you'd want to offer these less and maybe expire after a shorter amount of time, 4,8 or 12 hours. Maybe you shouldn't even have a 'Hunt' button, but just go to the area and any trollocs you kill while exploring within, say 20 battles or something like that, gets you extra points for that town. Though I think it would have to be more than x2 for that to be worth it.
I've noticed that it's kinda hard to catch up or gain a lead in a town without complete cooperation from a clan, or if you're a smaller clan than those you're trying to take/defend from. - My other idea is class based Talismans. For example, a Treesung talisman that only Ogier can use, that would enhance their natural abilities. (ie defense and health gain?) Different for every class.
Now that I've typed that and spent at least 20 minutes of my life thinking about it and trying to make it better, let me just say, it sounded a whole lot cooler before I did. I guess I'll let you decide. I can give you the rest of my thoughts for this if you think it's worth it.
