Hello,
GOS was recommended by a fellow at another forum and I've found it very enjoyable. One problem I am having however is how to I earn money?
As a low level four, the four and five levels that I am dueling seldom give me any reward for losing stamina. I did find some talismans hunting Seanchean, but no one seems to want them at market.
Now I can't afford to buy broth. Any recommendations?

Welcome to the game Seryna! Glad you're enjoying yourself so far!
As for earning money, the best way usually Exploring, or better yet taking a quest to Hunt a specific some NPC. The items found can be sold from your inventory for half their value, or to the market which can sometimes give better results if you can find a buyer, but that can take time. If you sell them directly, I suggest combining the talismen and items before you sell them, as they are usually worth more combined than separate.
Of course, all this takes stamina. Stamina recovers slowly over time, 1 per hour in wilderness areas and 2 per hour in towns. I suggest finding a sparsely populated town to camp out in though, just to make it less likely someone attacks you (potentially lowering your stamina again). You could also try joining a clan and asking some of your clan members for help (trade you items you can sell for money).
To help keep your stamina when you get it (meaning winning more battles than you lose), try to make sure you use as many of your equip points as possible and be sure to use your stay on top of upgrading your Skills with your skill points.

ok tim how bout this. Seryna, you're in my clan. if u need EQ check the clan vault or, if u need something thats not there, ask me and ill try to get it for u. as for broth....better EQ means more wins. fighting against NPCs will get u items which can be sold (this is the ONLY real way to get ANY amount of money at this stage in the game because not enough people have a lot of gold yet) which lets u buy broth!

Thanks for the help- I didn't realize any of this! Here's to trying to combine some item and hitting up some clan mates for duels  *Edit* Alright, I've combined a talisman to create a stone knife of cutpurses and when I click sell items, nothing happens. Why can't I sell it? *Editted* Nevermind, I un - cached it. |

Seryna, tell Justin or any member of your clan, or just post it on the clan post, what taliman and where you put it on the market, so they can buy it, because it just takes up space inventory, and at your level you don't have alot of space
