Yeah, fire was cool, but WAY too powerful. Constant damage that hits every turn and is unblockable? Yikes. I cut it when I added the equip point system because I tried to figure out how many points fire should cost and it would have been pretty much unusable. Tried to think of ways to nerf it a bit, but then it got too similar to poison or taint. Plus you don't see people in the WoT world walking around with flaming swords (non-channelers at least ). I am open to the idea of adding more stats though, so if you can think of a way to make Fire fit, or a completely new stat, let me know.

i think there is a way. make in constant but only does damage based on armor. like rags would instantly burst into flame but plated armor would barely be burned. make the talis points like taint and poison but instead of stack, its constant. hows that?

oh and tim there r people with fire swords that arent channelers. remember in book one where that darkfriend woman (gave no name) attacked mat and rand but hit the wood and the wood started smoking and turning black. that may count
