With planning (and work) for V4 winding down, the back of my mind is turning to V5. So I figured I'd let you guys do some brainstorming for me! ;D
One of the things I'd like to do in V5 is to expand on Quests, giving you guys more options, as well as adding static story-like quests. Not just fetch this or fight that, but something a bit more meaningful (ie. Defend this town against an impeding attack, or search these ruins for a mysterious ter'angreal). Admittedly, the large bulk of the work for these quests will fall back to battling and finding items, but hopefully the options of things to do will increase as well.
The tricky part is coming up with good quest ideas so I know what kind of code changes would be needed to make such ideas possible. I already know of some I plan to make (from my own as well as hearing you guys discuss things), but it still needs further fleshing out.
So here's where you come in: I want suggestions for possible quests. Could be something small (do Novice chores in the White Tower) to something large (lead a band of soldiers at the Dumai Wells). It could use game mechanics that are in the game currently (dueling, buying items, winning items, dice, etc) or something that isn't in the game now that you think could be fun (scouting, hunting animals, becoming a merchant, training in an organization, or whatever you guys come up with). I do ask that all quest or quest related activities you come up with be feasible in the WoT world.
Below are a couple examples of what I'm looking for. I also want to say that just because you (or even I) suggest something, doesn't mean it will make it into V5 or any version. This is really more of a brainstorming activity. However, if you guys come up with an idea that's popular and fits in with the game well, I'll probably do my best to try to incorporate it. Don't worry if your quest happens somewhere other than the locations we have now either. If it's a good idea, I can make it work.

Example 1
Quest: Complete a Novice Study Class on Healing
Description: Player must using healing weaves/herbs to help heal minor injuries to Younglings injured in their training.
Location: White Tower
Requirements: Must be a female channeler and enrolled in the White Tower
Possible Rewards: Healing weave; gain health stat bonus; gain health talisman; greater effects from herbs
Example 2
Quest: Perform a raid on an neighboring clan's territory
Description: Player attacks an Aiel Hold/Stand
Location: Aiel Waste
Requirements: Aiel, Level 15
Possible Rewards: gold (your part of the fifth)
Example 3
Quest: Explore the Ruins of Manetheran
Description: Travel to where Manetheran stood and explore the ruins there, looking for hidden objects
Location: Ruins of Manetheran
Requirements: none
Possible Rewards: item, talisman, ter'angreal
Example 4
Quest: Sabatoge your own army
Description: Disrupt your armies plans to give the your 'opponents' a hand.
Location: *wherever*
Requirements: darkfriend
Possible Rewards: taint stat bonus, higher standing among darkfriends
