If in the test I found NPCs too strong (until around lvl 10), now they are rather weak. I think their strength should be adjusted, otherwise drops come too easy.

I'd say give it a bit more time. Sure, the balancing isn't perfect, but the NPCs will grow in strength more quickly as they get in higher levels. My goal was that they'd be a bit easier at lower levels and harder at the higher ones. Time will tell on how successful I was, but I don't plan on messing with it (or much of anything else) until V4. Sorry.

THANK YOU!!! i like the way they r just fine. crom do u have ANY idea how much upgrades cost now??? level 1 r 1 gold! level 2 r close to 10! level 3s r 22 gold pieces! clans need the drops now r shops r going to suffer= more losses= less gold= even less stuff in shops! so tim keep them like they r. they dont need to be tough since we get less exp. for beating them anyway.

Don't want them (or gold earning, for that matter) to be too easy though. Raised the shop prices for a reason. ;D

Yeah I definetly agree on not messing with it, mine was just a first-glance impression that might turn out useful when setting monsters' strength in V4. Justin I know clans are having an hard time with upgrades lately, it must be the recession But seriously, I would like GoS to be a little harder than it's been so far, since that way we would have fun for longer.

But seriously, I would like GoS to be a little harder than it's been so far, since that way we would have fun for longer. That's exactly why I raised the upgrade cost. In V2, about half the town's had their shops maxed out in the first week or so. Hopefully it will take a bit more work this time. If you think it's too expensive, thank Ed. He talked me back down from nearly double the costs they are now...
