Or at least have that action take us back to the page where we tried to duel, whether that was the nearby or the town (explore) page? I don't really see the point of it taking us to the profile page, just leads to extra clicking to get back to the attack page and try again... (yes, I'm lazy!)

It's in place to stop you guys from hammering the servers to badly, and ensure that all the database stuff get handled before the next battle starts. If I took it off, especially now with the Explore option, you all could click explore and then just refresh repeatedly until you're out of battles. While I'm sure a lot of you are thinking "SWEET!", it raises the potential for many bad things to happen, especially if there are a bunch of you doing this at the same time. The duel scripts are by no means small and do lots of database access. I remember before Craig cut the battles back, the site ended up going down twice because his provider was angry about the bandwidth spikes.
So sorry, but it's not going away.
As for redirecting elsewhere, I suppose I can do that. Nearby page for duels and town for explore. I'll add it to my list, but admittedly it won't be high on my priorities. It will likely be one of those filler activities I do when I have a little extra time but not enough to do any of the bigger things.

Well maybe if it does it once. But I had it do it 13 times in a row !

Well, maybe if you'd wait until your battle finishes before trying to start a new one, you wouldn't get the message.

You just need to either be much more powerful, so you kill people with less hits (or make yourself so weak that you die quickly ) or just hit much lower people, then the battle is quick enough! Tim, you did speed up the battles for v3, though, didn't you? They seem to take significantly less time between each hit now than they did before, so I'm pretty happy already

Yeah, I think it's something like .75 seconds or so, as opposed to a full 1 second between each hit. Enough to make things a little faster, but still possible to pick up about what's going on if you want to read as it goes.

I'd like a button "Explore again" at the end of a wilderness battle.

You can just refresh the page, it does the same thing (Though it took me long enough to figure that out... lol)
