I thought i knew how to use taint, you get a hit in at the start and it acumulates on your opponent the more they hit you. but often a solid hit at the start doesn't seem to start the taint. Why is this? Even with a lot of accuracy, the taint still does not start until halfway through the duel. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) does taint need to be combined with normal damage too? no that cannot be right, my opponents taint works on their first hit with no normal damage.

it just has a 50% chance of hitting, bad luck i guess?

so it's 50% chance of hit no matter what?
you cannot improve the chance by distributing taint across both hands and armor?

Nope. As of this version, Taint will always have a 50% chance to hit. Same with poison.
