Well, I'll spill what's already known about it (if you look around the forum a bit at least).
Will be adding character classes back in, a way to take over sparsely populated towns (not telling this one yet), and will sorta speed up traveling but not really (again, not gonna explain more than that right now). Also will fix a few issues from v2, tweak weaves to make them more worth wild, and likely add some new tavern games.
That's about all I got to say right now. Despite what it looks like, that's a lot. Though probably more than you actually expected me to give...

Teehee, I have a guess for the kind of faster, kind of not travel, but I'm not saying If there's anyway to bring back the random battles, I'd love that. That would be great for all those days when you just don't have time to travel around finding targets, but I've yet to come up with a solution to them making people want to stay in the same place, as they wouldn't have to move. A limited amount per day, less xp, don't count for clan wins, or something, I just don't know. I do know that I loved them and miss them, though. It was fun to see who you'd get to fight, and how you did, and I think that might make the game more newb friendly, since it's such a simple concept. One-click battles

i dont think you could ever balance exp for defending... Why not, rey? You won't get it from your alts, and it would encourage people to leave gold out in order to attract attackers.

even if everyone only had one character how would you limit people only attacking each other in order to exploit defending exp? Get three or four people together and you could easily use all of your turns doing this, throw in three characters each and each person only attacking the other persons main...?
I would rather see a small chance of finding an item for a defending win, not as big of a bonus as exp so it would be less likely to be exploited yet still would be worth leaving gold out at higher levels

Yeah, that's how alliances used to work--it was fun.
I don't want my inventory to fill up with sharpened sticks like it used to, though.

fun /= balanced
it's not to hard to sell an item and decreasing the chance of drop compared to winning a battle will make it hard to fill up your inventory. At lower levels it might not be that great but I think it would be worth it at higher levels with a small chance at getting a good weapon or tali because you left all your gold out to entice people to attack you

To the above suggestions: Yes, No, Maybe, I don't know, and can you repeat the question? Not necessarily in that order.
