It seems some things about agility have been changed from how i remember them. I remember there being a 70% cap on agility and it decaying 10% / hit ..... it seems it doesn't work this way anymore. so , how does it work ?
you have already said the cap is now 95% but what about the decay.
The reason I ask is that a character of mine recently got 5 consecutive hits on his opponent using only 24% agility. I can appreciate that even without decaying agility this is about a 1 : 1000 occurence , but with the decay i'm not even sure it is possible. Even if the decay stopped at 1% so you always have a "chance" to get another hit I would think it would be a statistical anomaly for this to occur. Would be something like
1/4 * 1/8 * 1/25 * 1/100 * 1/100 = I come up with 1 in 8 million chance of this occuring lol ..... compared to 1 : 1024 if the decay was taken out.
The main reason I ask is due to the fact at higher levels when a critical will no longer kill the opponent , agility comes into play and if a melee fighter can sit back with 95% non decaying agility they would be very hard to kill. I realize at that point a 10% decay won't make a huge difference , but still ........

lol, why dont you complain about the ranger combos to kill in one hit that you will be able to use for 20 lvls instead of complaining about what could happen after those 20 lvls with melee users?

hush up you big baby you get to use 2 Heron Mark Blades ...... and i'm not saying put agility cap back at 70% , I'm just saying that your % should go from 95% to 85% on the second hit instead of just staying at 95% You must admit that is fair. Otherwise at the ultra high levels you would would have in the neighborhood of 81% chance to get 5 attacks in a row ........ just seems a bit much ...... with my suggestion it would drop that chance to 39% chance of getting 5 hits in a row , which is enough to kill the creator himself i would imagine

Depends on which stun you mean. In one of the threads on the suggestion board, I gave a brief summary of my planned changes for v2. Speed and stun replace agility. Stun as it works now I don't believe effects agility. Admittedly I could be wrong though.

What, if anything, does stun do today, then? I always thought it had something to do with agility, but I never managed to figure it out for sure

I think agi doesn't decay right now...I have insane amounts and this guy got three hits on me when I am six lv's higher then him...I got the most agi you should get on my skills and gear so I don't know...a lil unbalanced though so it's good it's getting changed and tweeked.

Its not worth much right now, since you are not doing more than 1 or 2 hits and even if you do 2 hits you dont need the second to do more damage than the first... it could be a slight advantage in 10 attacks battles... but never meant much

If agility hasn't been changed, and as far as I can tell it hasn't, the cap was about 90%. 95% might be the actual cap, although I tested quite a bit with just gear over 100% agility in ages past and noticed no difference from the 90% that my usual attack equipment gave. about 1 in 10 fights I didn't get at least 1 extra swing. 90-95 makes not much difference. Drops about 10% a swing. From what I've been able to figure, and I hate to share my testing, but I figure if it's gonna change next age, might as well. Your bottom limit agility never drops below your agility bonus given from skills.
Gives all you fancy, prancy bow wielding fools a bit of an edge, but when you have max agility, the odds of bottoming out is pretty slim considering armor falls off at end game.
I seem to be getting about the same results from agility as I used to, but I'm only sporting 55% with no agility from skills, so it's tougher for me to gauge because at this point, luck still plays a big role in my chance of winning.
Ooh, forgot to mention that I'm pretty sure that in ages past, the 10% agi drop with each swing resets back to your full agility when your opponent gets an attack off. That always bothered me. I would have liked if craig had made it a battle long drop so that once characters are high enough in level to have the HP to withstand 5 hits, armor would once again become a more relevant factor.

Well, from my experience this age, it seems that agi is capped at 95%, but its only my feeling... besides tim said it was 95% and i think he checked on the code, impossible to tell how much it drops cause i always kill in the second hit...
