Welcome to records of the 18th version of Game of Stones, the sixth age. Within these pages we plan to record the rumours, the momentous occasions, and the paths of the legendary. We seek contributions from clan leader to lowly beggar as all have a perspective to offer these annuls. And while we desire a wide swath of perspectives, it is also imperative these records rise above the petty momentary things and instead lay out the notes from which epics can be written. So let us write in good humour, with recognition given to whom it is due. For the more ambitious collectors of information, occasional notations of the top three in any given category of heroes will prove to be enlightening later on, as would maps showing the ever-changing political landscape of the land.
Day 3: War has broken out as clans scramble to establish their city strongholds. Children of the Light march on Manetheren in Jehannah after losing their only city of Amador to the Little Tower. The Elysian Empire declares war on the Chosen as both vie for control of Illian. Meanwhile, the Seanchan Empire attempt to remove the sudden arrival of the Order of the Dawn from Stedding following latter taking hold of the city while defending it from a horde of Wilders coming from Haddon Mirk. The sun sets on a world posturing and preparing for the coming battles.
Day 5: The Elysians find themselves victorious in Illian as their sister clan, the Order of the Dawn raises their banner over the Stedding. Many of the Light clans march to Manetheren's aide and the Lord Captain Commander and the Children of the Light are narrowly driven back after incessant guerrilla tactics on the part of the Whitecloaks.
Day 13: War again spreads across the land as Mashadar positions to fight to retake Fal Dara, The Children Of the Light move on Amador to again hold the city, and the Chosen march toward Shol Arbela. Time will tell how the Dragonsworn, the Little Tower, and the Seanchan Empire respond.
Day 15: Smoke rises over still smoldering earth as banners are raised across the land. The golden sun of the Children of the Light flies above Amador yet again, the Lord Captain Commander Thomas Shinowa cleaning blood from blade that laid low many a foe. The white trolloc skull on field of black declares Mashadar's rule in both Fal Dara and Rhuidean, Bal overseeing the victory in both cities. A green viper lifts head to sky over Shol Arbela as the Chosen, under the leadership of Coreer Alexandria, having expanded their lands.
Day 15 After nearly 24 hours of combat with heavy losses inflicted on both the little tower and its manetherian allies the glorious children of the light were nearing exhaustion and risk of losing the battle when the army of mashadar unexpectedly reinforced the children for the final push to drive the shadow spawn of the tower and their darkfriend allies from our wonderous homeland that was held by evil for far to long
Day 23 Rumors abound that the Horn of Valere has been taken to sea by Nyein dinMisieri, who comes to land more frequently than some would like to demonstrate her might. The Order of the Dawn take Bandar Eben in a battle in which banners were switched and confusion abounded. The victors raise their banners over the city while still bleeding from the wounds of insurgents.
Day 28: Thak falls to the Black Tower and their allies. The forges of the Dark One's armies have been silenced. . . for now at least. While the Towers celebrate their victory, the forces of Shadow slip away from their former city nestled in the Blight.
Day 31: The forces of the Dark One repelled two major incursions into their lands this week. Mashadar withstood the Seanchan Empire in Rhu, while the Children of the Light beat back a resurgent Little Tower. The battles were closely contested, but in the wee hours of the morning, a strike team of Shadow Duelists decimated the competition and brought victory to their side.
Day 30: A messenger just made it through the Shadow's forces to bring us news from the Stedding Shangtai. While the forces of Light marched onto Rhu and Amador, including the Empress of the Seanchan Empire, the Chosen staged an all out invasion onto the Ogier Stedding pledged to Empress Amelia Paendrag, May She Live Forever. The garrison was trapped inside the borders of city by the Chosen's channelers while their overwhelming army of darkfriends and shadowspawn waged a more conventional war. The garrison tried to break through the lines, but while the messenger eventually made it through, the rest could not escape Coreer and her Chosen.
Day 35: Nyein dinMisieri wrests the Horn from Kirid Novara after it had been held by Raaven Crosswind for a time. The Little Tower gathers an army outside Tar Valon to push back Draghkars after the city defenses suffered great losses at the hands of the shadow.
Day 36: Small fights happen across the map as the seals change hands, never without the drawing of blood by one side or another. A seal is installed in Caemlyn even as another changes hands continually. Fal Dara is torn between masters as the city changes hands at an alarming frequency, the banners of Mashadar and Black Tower only barely lowered before being raised again.
