Here's the revised bonuses for Estate upgrades. Most have increased. Some significantly.
Estate Bonuses
Guard House: +3x% damage in Wilderness area
Walls: +3x% defense in Wilderness area
Store House: +3x Estate Storage
Hunting Grounds: +5x% Player Ji vs NPCs in Wilderness area
Patrols: 10x% chance for bonus items in Estate
Roads: 1x% discount in Surrounding Cities
Tax Collector: Estate Tax level 1x,
Local Maps: 2x Luck in Wilderness area
Square: Local Quests bonus coin level 1x
(Wilderness Specific): Estate Good Production level 1x
Stat bonuses in Wilderness areas:
Guard House, Walls, and Local Maps give the Estate owner stat bonuses when battling in their Estate's wilderness area. I've upped the strength of those bonuses slightly. Also these bonuses will now apply to duels in that wilderness area, as well as NPC battles.
Hunting Grounds' Ji:
I've upped the %Ji bonus from 2% per level to 5% per level. Note that this is STILL just player Ji, not clan Ji.
Patrol items:
This bonus used to just mention Ter'angreal, but it's been all items for a while. How it works is whenever a non-ally, non-alt player finds an item while battling in your estate's grid, you have a chance to get an exact copy of that item in your Estate's inventory. That used to be a 4-25% chance. Now it's a 10-50% chance.
Interesting side note - While I was testing this bonus, I happened to find a Prison Seal. Low and behold, my Estate ended up with a Prison Seal of it's own. I've since added a check to prevent Prison Seals from being copied to Estates.
Estate Tax:
The Estate Tax bonus grants the Estate owner bonus coin whenever a non-ally, non-alt character battles the same grid cell of your estate. This coin is deposited directly into the Estate owner's bank at the time of the battle. The amount of coin depends on your Tax Collector level as well as the total level of your Estate.
Estate Tax coin = Estate Level x Tax Collector Level x 50cp
The amount of coin earned per battle in your estate's grid is 50cp to 20sm. While this isn't a lot, if a Estate is a popular with lots of players running random battles vs NPCs, you can earn a lot of coin for absolutely no effort on your part. FYI- this bonus got increased by 50 times.
Local Quests bonus coin:
Here's the one you've been waiting for. All panicked because I threatened to shrink it. Well, I am going to shrink it. And make it a little bigger too.
The range of coin that could be earned previously was 50sm to 20gc. The new range is 6sm to 24gc. The big difference is that the amount of coin you earn will now be also based on the difficulty of the quest.
Quest bonus coin = 600cp x Quest Difficulty x Estate Level x Square Level
Quest Difficulty is a number between 1 and 10. Difficulty level actually starts at -1, but due to formula it will end up being 1 to 10. Each wilderness has 6 different NPCs that can be found there. Some are more rare when exploring and those rarer ones are also a higher level. So depending on which one of these 6 NPCs the quest was for gives you +1 to +6 to your difficulty. For NPC quests, you have to beat 5-25 NPCs for your quests. This adds +1 to +5 NPCs. For Find quests, this is automatically +5.
Quest Difficulty = -1 + NPC difficulty (1 to 6) + quest size (1 to 5 for NPCs; 5 for Find)
Wilderness Specific bonuses:
This post is getting long and I'm getting tired. I'll save this for another post.
