To keep the countdown going long enough, I'll be spreading out my miscellaneous changes this time instead of just throwing them in on or two posts at the end (or a random one when I'm slacking and don't have time to throw together a full post).
So here's the first one.
Ter'aran'rhiod is nice that it let's players chat with anyone from anywhere. The minor issue I see is that some people with multiple characters (*cough* Felic *cough*) are particularly bad at keeping track of which character they are logged in with and that can lead to confusion.
Therefore, I've added the text "Logged in as: Name HouseName" right below the text box where you enter you messages. That way you know who you're making a post as. One big disclaimer with this though: this text only updates when the chat refreshes itself and checks for new posts. So after you log in with a new character, it could be up to 60 seconds before the name updates. But hopefully if you JUST logged in, you can remember who you are for a little bit. Better than nothing.
Oh, and I cleaned up the message input box to be more uniform in it's size between browsers.
(Sorry Felic. You're not the only one as I do it too, but you have to admit you make a good poster child for this.
