Ok so i was thinking, in the books there are no "clans" so i was thinking we should rename them to something along the lines of "Houses" or some sort. It would help give it more of a WoT-like feel

Houses might work. Although, I think Nations would be better, for some things - and Organizations for others. In short, maybe we should just make it Groups. That's all purpose enough to encompass anything and everything. Or maybe that should be customizable? Perhaps there could be a drop-down menu with different options on it, say, "Clan", "House", "Kingdom", "Organization", etc.

Hugh your idea of different names is good, but instead of a dropdown menu how about the names change due to the number of people in it, or for other factors... You could have (just some names here to fill in) a platoon... This is 8 people + the leader. Then when you have another 8 people you get a sub leader, lets call it a squad. Then another 8 another subleader, which you call a company... Then maybe 2 companies to make a brigade... You could use terms from the wot
Then the leaders title could change as well... To ranks from the WoT... I thin Mat explains the ranks somewhere...

That would work for military organizations (like the Company), but I don't know whether the civilians would like that..... Good idea, though.
EDIT: Actually, that is a brilliant idea, Brom - and I think there's a way for everyone to use it. We could have three types of Clan: an army for the strictly military groups, a kingdom for nobles and their followers, and an Organization for Aes Sedai or other types of nonstandard groups. Each would start out at the lowest level for their respective specialties, and work its way up. An army would go from platoon (for example) below 8 members to a Legion at the highest number (perhaps 80?). A Kingdom would go from a village (or perhaps family? it depends on whether we'd go with House-based or nation-based names) to a Nation (or Kingdom, see above). I don't know about Organizations, but I feel as if there ought to be a third way if we are to have multiple choices.

I agree! your ideas are so much better than my initial thought!
