I've reached the point of diminishing returns, whereby it takes more time and effort to travel back and forth to town, un-equip, repair, re-equip, then travel back to the wilderness than it does to do anything else. It honestly seems like that is what I spend most of my time doing, and it is not fun. There is nothing, no part of that process, that makes it rewarding enough not to suck. Traveling, un-equipping, repairing, re-equipping and traveling some more doesn't enhance the game for me, so it is just something to be endured in order to enjoy the more pleasurable aspects of the game, like adding new skill points, trying new combinations out, etc. However, I am now at the point that the suckiness of fixing my gear outweighs the excitement of exploring the game, so I have lost interest in this round. If I am the only one, that's fine, but if others feel like this drains the joy out of the game, perhaps it should be adjusted in future versions.

dualing is a lot less hassel since u have to trave SO FREAKIN much just to dual people your own level (but hunting is more fun when u get a horse, then u chase down everyone lol). i only fight NPCs with alts, although i havent had anytime this version sorry

I completely hear you. As a matter of fact, I've already tried to address this issue for V8 (it's like the only code change I've done so far ). Got another change on my list to simplify things futher. Got a list of things for next version that don't really change the game mechanics too much, but are simply meant to make playing the game easier (and less time consuming). With all the little things I've added over the past few versions, things have slowed down greatly. Between stamina loss, ter'angreal, smaller shops, quests, and repairing, I've made traveling around a bit more important and more costly. No one thing slowed things too much (though repairing is fairly big), but together I understand it can become a hassle. Like I said, hopefully next version will be better!

I've always found travelling a pain. I miss the days where you could duel anyone you wanted (that was before location and maps ever existed) whenever you wanted, provided you had duels left.
If someone hasn't already mentioned it, being able to save equipment as a "set" would be very useful. I switch between sets that have different optimised stats (dodge, taint, etc), so it'd make switching sets much quicker, and it would make the repairing-and-reequipping ritual that Jenlyn describes much easier too. Or even just a "Repair Current Equipment" button.

Blacksmiths should be able to repair on the go it could take up a duel or some extra cost to do it on the go, but I'd pay it!

Yep. Already added part of my planned fix into the V8 code, with more work to follow.
