food is kind of worthless... and at the higher levels, rarely used/// would it be possible to add the stamina gained with food to the base health. but only for the limited turns this would allow you to duel with someone who generally pwns you..... and it would make food a more desireable commodity flame away

I don't agree, I use food often, though not in large quantity. I use it while on quests to regain small amounts o stamina, so that I don't have to go back to town. But the idea isn't bad, maybe it could work this way: the extra health stays only till the next use of stamina, whatever it is. This way you could boost your health before next duel but not further.

I use food up until about lv10 or 15. After that...it honestly makes little or no difference. Unless people are picking on me I never even come close to losing all my health and I never used the herbs and drinks at all...

If Tim adds the loss of stamina, just for wandering around, I think it'll be more usefull. Other than that, I don't use food much. I use lots of herbs though.

I thought he already had... never noticed my stamina wasn't actually going down. Or maybe the stamina loss when winning a NPC could be slightly increased (I think it's a very little figure now, or nought). I'm surprised anyway at how few people use food. Well, I've never used more than bread/broth/vegs, because what I need is only 2/3 pts when doing my NPC/find quests, still I find it useful. Probably you guys are less likely to lose from NPCs than I am...

I avoid Find quests, so I don't have to lose. Also, when you get to higher levels, stamina does go down more when you lose. Depending on how much health you lose during the battle.
