Has anyone else seen the snow start falling in their GoS browser windows? Yes, it's VERY a.m. for me now, but I have screen shots to prove I'm not hallucinating, if necessary...

I've seen the snow before - WAY back in the Craig days, I think... I assumed it was some sort of 'easter egg' in the coding. At that time, I was on a fairly slow machine and the snow choked the whole thing down to a crawl. A couple weeks ago, my main desktop went down. As of a few days ago, I'm back on that same (circa 2000) machine - and now the snow's back... I swear, irony is a force of nature...

lol - oh, there's WAY more irony in this story than just the snow... At the end of Gathering Storm, which came out just a few weeks before my desktop bit the big one, remember what Rand blasted to smithereens? Well, guess what the computer's HD and network name was? after the second read of tGS, I had actually thought - "OK, I've been using this machine for 5 years now. Maybe it's time to upgrade - especially since its namesake was just obliterated..." THEN... the machine died the same DAY that my new 1TB backup drive was delivered - but BEFORE I got to back anything up...

I'm just chalking it all up as more and more proof that irony is really what makes the world go 'round... gravity? pff.
