So i was thinking, we have sub leaders now, and without a way to decide who gets promoted when the leader leaves, what will we do. Why not make that part of the influence. Make it so whoever starts the clan is automatically the leader until a set number of people join, or maybe they start as a sub leader also, and only sub leaders can be promoted to being leader through influence. This will stop the ability to steal clans almost entirely because only the leader will be able to set a sub leader, so they know they can trust the person they have promoted.
Also, with the leader being only a sub leader with the most influence, they are in danger of becoming only a sub leader themselves if one of their subleaders gains more influence than them.
This just kinda hit me so it may not be as great as i think, but it may solve the issue of clans being stolen.

Influence is going away all together (well, at least on an individual basis). There's too much room for corruption, possibly even if its just for subleader (a subleader loads up the clan with his own alts and supports himself). Subleaders will succeed the leader though. Just not with influence.
