I, too noticed this problem as the BT was taking over half the world in V2. However, Tim is right. Anything we did to try to solve the problem would make things worse, and in truth, I think that despite the little annoyance, it actually adds to the game. Tims done a great job so far and I stand behind him 100%. If anyone doesn't like it they can always go back to Craigs GoS or WoTMud.

hehe i agree with you about what Tim has done for this game and you with the graphics. it is close to top of the line for a game of its kind. Yet one thing that makes this different and places it above the top of the line is the fact that only Tim and Ed are working this and they have done so much and put in so much time and effort in this without getting much more in return than a thank you and the feeling of triumph over the challenges they face. I at this point cant only make suggestions on things that i see. I have not been playing except for maybe a month so therefore i still have a lot to learn. I have skimmed over several posts yet there are a lot to actually go through to know what you have and have not tried yet. Additionally on topics such as this i am only trying to extrapolate on a previous idea so that either it can look more appealing and at the same time possibly make the game more interesting if not solve a current problem or two at the same time. I want Tim to have as little added work as possible yet also assist in whichever way I possibly can. I dont want to make a suggestion that will take him a month to figure out the coding for and then it be something that has little to no use or beneficial use. I am just trying to bat around the ideas here to get more people that actually like this game involved in making suggestion and getting involved in trying to make it the best this game can possibly be.

Alright, perhaps the idea does have merit, but perhaps we could implement it in a different way. Perhaps a Tel'aran'rhiod area? If players aren't 'active' for a certain amount of time they go to sleep, sending them to the World of Dreams. While in this state, they could lose experience maybe? Or at least lose battles to use. Starting back with 0 battles is a small price to pay for sleeping on the job

Hey you could have like an Inn in every town and after 50 days you would be put in the inn marked as sleeping untill you log back in

i actually like that idea a lot better and what is the possibility that this is an inaccesible area which would take the characters out of play because ou cant fight when you sleep im sorry fr the fixation on the removal of the game i cant seem to get past that idea it is stuck in my mind. the problem is that in real life it takes months to get past the idea that is stuck in my mind and by that time someone else has usually figured out what i was trying to say in much simpler terms. Im just saying it is a good idea but for some reason the town or wilderness just doesnt work for me. Its like an online game that is an rpg you can move your character to a safe point and you really dont even exist in some games while you are offline you also dont advance and by the time you get back everyone is far ahead of you. Im thinking along these lines when i picture the placement of inactives if this helps at all. nothing hard to implement say you dont log on in a week you are moved to this area. then when you do decide to login you can access a nearby town to travel but you cannot go back to this area except for by being inactive.
