I looked around a bit, thinking I had a nice overview of the game somewhere, but no such luck. Guess it's time to write one up. Tavern dice work as follow: Every 10 minutes, a new dice game is started in each town. For the next 10 minutes, any player may pay for a roll. The price to get into the game is randomly selected from a range of preset values (range now settable by town rulers on the test site). The pot size increases as the more players by in. There is also an NPC gambler from each town that is in every roll. This is to ensure that a player can play dice as much as they want, even if they are the only person playing. After 10 minutes, the game is over. All players rolls are shown and the player with the best roll wins the pot. Rolls (low to high):- High dice (no pairs or straights, though with only 6 choices, you, it's actually pretty rare through).
- One pair
- Two pair
- Three of a kind
- Straight (Tops only. Not used in crowns)
- Full House
- Four of a Kind
- Five of a Kind
The previous games results are shown at the bottom of the screen. If the town gambler was the only one in the game (ie. no players joined that dice game), then it will show the last results that had players in it. Did I miss anything?
