Hi everyone! Just discovered this game over the weekend, so I'm looking around and experimenting a bit without worrying about doing the right thing (reset coming up soon-ish if I understand things correctly). I'm a pretty big WoT fan, reread-wise I just finished The Gathering Storm, so I'm way ahead of schedule for January

Finally found this thread... Dominik, and I live in Mississauga, Canada (and no I do not own a polar bear!). Currently 16 and slowly finishing high school. Began WoT in Grade 6 when I saw them on my classroom's pitiful bookshelf. The weird covers dissuaded me at first but i gave it a try and it hasn't disappointed me. Jordan has made me a fantasy addict, only fantasy books I've read before that were Lord of the Rings & Brian Jacques. (Still haven't ready Harry Potter though... ) Love to read, history is a passion, writing is a nice hobby and I hope to be an author someday among other things. You could call me a humanities guy or whatever. Fitness and being outdoors is also good, as well as succeeding I also have played the piano since I was 5 and am in Grade 9 RCM if anyone knows what that means. Though a Canadian, I am also Polish and spend my summers there and the rest here. That should finish up my self-centred rant XD

Hello everyone. My name is Jake, I found this game a few versions ago but only after the Last Battle and was really confused about why nobody ever responded when I went into chat so I gave up on it. Then this version I gave it another shot, pleased to find I was one of the first to sign up for V11. I was very active until about a month ago when I got busy and never logged in. Last week I started up again and here I am. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and am 24, though I like to act childish as I don't like growing up. Many in this game will probably say I am immature. I say that immature is a word boring people use to describe fun people.
Though I live in Las Vegas I was born in London and moved here when I was very little so I remember nothing of British culture other than that many love tea and fish-and-chips, a love I share. I am on book 8 of Wheel of Time, been reading for a year now, and I have so little life that I play World of Warcraft in some of my free time.

I never did an introduction, woops!! Craig, from Sydney, Australia, which is why I keep some strange hours compared to most of you 34 going on 14, will be a gamer for ever and ever and ever and ... ad infinitum. I am a dueller at heart (if you hadn't guessed) ... bit like Rahvin really, I discovered GoS after the LB of V10, and wondered why I had just found this game seemingly right after it died, and people had all abandoned it! Then I found the links to the test site for V11, where some of you were up to L50-60 or so I think, and that's where my GoS story started

I had you pegged as a Scot, Seitaarin. I guess the use of bloody and full stop in your posts made me think you were form Britain, and your feistiness made me think you were Scottish. I keep reading your posts with a brogue. Now I'll have to change accents.

Introduction time!!! Hi guys, my name is Rachel and I'm from Coimbra, Portugal. I'm 22 years old and I'm a final year student of chemistry engineering. I've started reading WoT when I was 19 and... It’s a bit embarrassing to say this... I'm only on book 4 since they only translated the first 4 volumes to portuguese. I love to read (especially fantasy), games, my fat cat and chemistry (blow up stuff is so cool...just kidding xD). This is the first time I played GoS (hopefully not the last) and I still have a lot to learn. If you have any questions ask away!

Welcome Rachel! I started learning (Brazilian) Portuguese a few years ago, because my sister-in-law is from Brazil. But all I can remember how to say now is: Eu quero um sanduíche (I couldn't even remember how to spell it and had to look it up) I hope they get the rest of the series translated for you soon.

Since there are undoubtably a lot of new faces and being that i only play every few years i thought id make another intro for the newer players and those older ones that are less familiar with me.
Ive been apart of the family from the gold buggy edition where we only had a list of everyone playing to attack and in our banks we had billions of gold and fought each other for hundreds of millions more at a time. Not only was i active for the first few versions and every odd one after that but i also helped create and lead the first big alliance in the game. we had over 90% of the regs and it was all to oppose a single yet powerful clan. it was a very fun time and no where near the amazing complexity that it is today
