Previously I have had some issues getting into the site but they were usually sporadic and came and went quickly. Suddenly this morning I can't get to the site or log in at all. I have tried firefox , IE , and even downloaded and tried Opera.
One time I was actually able to get to the log in screen in firefox but then when i tried to log in it timed out and started behaving the same again.
Any ideas what could be causing this ?

Hmm. I'm not having any issues. What exactly is the issue you are getting?

Hmm. I wonder if the server was down for a bit and just recently popped back on (within the last hour). How long ago did you log on, Ger?

I get this message in opera Error! Could not connect to remote server You tried to access the address www.gos.talij.com/, which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that the Web address (URL) is correctly spelled and punctuated, then try reloading the page. Make sure your Internet connection is active and check whether other applications that rely on the same connection are working. I get this message in IE Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage Most likely causes: You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address. and i get this message in firefox Network Timeout The server at www.gos.talij.com is taking too long to respond. The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply.

There's no 'www' in the site address. Just gos.talij.com/. If it's adding the www, that would likely cause some problems. Not sure why it would be though unless you're doing something different.

Hmm. Not sure what's up. I doubt it's regional (I'm in USA though). If this was a more widespread issue I'm fairly certain others would have chimed in here by now. Could there be an issue where your connection is blocking the site? Not sure why it would, but it's a possibility. I don't know why this would help, but try clearing out your cookies and temporary internet files as I know there are some outstanding issues caused by those. Doesn't seem related to this, but it can't hurt. I'll keep trying to figure out what's going on.

I haven't made any code changes at all since Sunday, and those were on the test site, not the live version.

Quite odd. Perhaps your work decided you needed to stop playing games and get back to work. *knocks on wood that my work doesn't do something similar* Glad to hear you're back in!
