You're right, Rasina. I forgot about NPCs giving you negatives for a loss now. But honestly how often do people lose to NPC at higher levels? Definitely a drop in the bucket.
Participation points did seem a little high, but hoping those come down a little relatively now that the points formula is fixed. Should hopefully be better next time, but if its not things can definitely be tweaked for next round.
As for the popping in for 15 minute intervals, I didn't want to lock players down for the full hour in order to get the participation points. As you mentioned, those 15 minutes could be quite brutal, especially if the other side has 4 or 5 good duelers sitting in the city ready to pounce. Once the duel points are corrected, you may be right that those 15 minutes may do more harm than good. If clans were forced to stay longer than that then participation might not be worth it if the clan doesn't have a lot of good duelists. I'm sure Serashada can attest that you made earning the participation points in Amador quite costly for her. ;P
My goal with participation was to make Clan Battles more active affairs, where the clans involved are forced to engage each other instead of the quick hit and run tactics we've seen in the past. In that respect I think participation was a success. It's still a little rough around the edges and opefully with the points formula bug resolved the next ones will be better, but frankly I would have been shocked if I didn't have to adjust anything in the formula for next round. Took me about 10 versions to get the the equipment/skill stats balanced as well as I have them and there are still minor tweaks that could be made.
