Ok ...... given ....... there aren't that many of us playing the game at the moment. I'd estimate maybe 15 in total and maybe 6 or 7 that are very active.
I think it is reasonable that we each create more than 1 account. It helps with random item drops assisting you to find what you need to make your items better and without it my characters would have been screwed because my ranger kept finding all the melee drops and my melee fighter all the ranged drops lol.
Anyway , the part that I have a problem with is specifically in the instance of Jay. First of all he creates in the neighborhood of 20 duplicate accounts for the sole intent of boosting his win total , providing easy targets to level on , get more random item drops. He leaves the game for a week , says he is retired , and now returns to boost his win total before the reset.
There is quite the difference between playing a few accounts to maximize your interest in the game, and using them to fuel your own ambitions. I would like to see a stop to this abuse of the game environment.
I'm not sure if this is something that Tim as game admin should involve himself in yet , or something that we as the players should be regulating our own behavior. But as small as the player pool is right now , this type of stuff doesn't really help to keep players in the game any more than the previous tactic of fighting other accounts that were disarmed in order to level more quickly.
