What stats are the Whitecloaks strong in? Are they mostly damage and block or attack% and defence% ?? I'm finding them hard to kill

Whitecloaks are fairly straight forward. Their damage is about 2x their block and they have some +% defense (2 + 2 more every 10 levels).

Actually the problem was limited to a particular NPC: the target of a find quest. Did you make the targets harder to beat?

Oh, yeah those have always been a little harder. They're usually a level or 2 higher.

Yeah I know, but I wondered if you had made them even stronger this version, because I've always been doing many find quests, and never had so much difficulty getting ahead of the targets as in V7. Now for instance I'm fighting a target Draghkar and it always trashes me, like last time it was 167-18 final health! Maybe it's because I can't manage my gear as well as I did with the old inventory. But still my gear now appears to be Heavy, so it can't be that bad. Anyway, I don't think it's a problem, actually it makes quests more intriguing

Well, I had to tweak the NPCs to account for the new system, so I think NPCs in general have been a little bit tougher (at least for me) this version.

Draghkar blow. It's the taint that gets you.
