What if we simply allowed a person to choose an extra weapon specialty as well as new classes on lv20? One or the other. Or maybe only certain advanced classes, like Warder or channeler could, but only at the next class up. Like if you chose to be an asha'man at lv20, at lv40 you would have the option of learning a secondary weapon specialty instead of another class?

And I must say, having seen Tim's plans for that that special addition to V6, I think it will work out much better than Craigs resource gathering. Is it perfect? Probably not. Will Tim isolate and fix any problems before the official release? I'd put my money on it.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Ed. Though now that you've made it clear you've seen my plans, you've opened yourself up to the stream of PMs trying to sneak some info out of you.

What if you made a few more weaves to be added to what you already have. Like one that poisons as well as causes damage or stunning or a weave that adds speed.

how about building the white tower or the black tower or in general your town...maybe one for like each major faction. a great port for the sea chan and the sea folk...maybe a steading for the oiger far madding could be a great city for anyone who can control it. black tower/white tower, obvious affliction there...

On dual wielding/multiple weapon specialties: The only thing that'd I really don't want to end up with is dual wielding weaves, and the reason for that is with the way weaves work there'd be the possibility of exceeding your point limits. All other dual wieling combos could be exceptable, but I feel like there should be a cost for dual wielding. Using two swords (or axes or bows. Perhaps especially bows!) would likely hinder the damage dealt by either. The problem is, that since there's the equip points system, there's no real bonus to dual wielding other than more options. So if I add any kind of penalties, it makes dual wielding not worth it. So basically, I need to think on it. More weave options: Actually the weave Rend is SUPPOSED to add speed at higher levels (20+). Just noticed the other day that it doesn't. Too late in the version to fix it now, but it will be fixed for V6. I also plan to tweak some of the weapons, as there aren't really any that add the new stats. Taint, Poison, Wound, First Strike, and Speed are all things that I think could have a place on weaves that don't already. On building up towns: I've been thinking of something along these lines for a long time. What is WoT without the major buildings and locations of the books (Plus it'd take care of a couple of the popular things from the poll above). It's all an issue of incorporating these features into the game and making them worth the effort of adding them. If I add one, I'd need to add something unique in each town. Some are easy to think of (like White & Black Towers), but what about all the other cities? I can think of significant places that make sense for most of them, but what would be their usefulness? With the major addition I'm planning on adding in V6, it makes it easier to come up with ideas for some of them, but even then it will be a challenge. So all I can say at this point is cross your fingers for V7. ;D

An addition to the clan page where you can quickly check whom you are supporting and where would be nice.

well as to the town idea, there should be the major towns, but at the same time, who cared about the two rivers? There would be major and minor towns, also a steading would offer much more support for oiger, however a human might like it because of the weave hampering ability, but for the oiger it would be much better, and if there was at least one special oiger steading, with its great stump, it would be better for the oiger. not all the towns were ment for greatness...
However I was thinking of maybe having control of a town would give you taxes...the more npc population (not combat able) means more taxes...if your city gets under siege maybe people (the non combat able npcs start to leave a little)

Ter'angreal/Angreal/Sa'angreal...............
oddly enough, these are the only "talisman" that i can recall from the books..... the one power could be enhancedby special items, but a sword, for the most part, remained a sword.....
