The first week or so of posts are little random things that need to be made known in order to more fully explain some of the other changes that are coming.
Terrain Types: Each of the wilderness areas between towns is one of six different terrain types: Forest, Hill, Mountain, Ocean, Plain, or Wasteland. The list below shows which terrain type each wilderness area is:
Oceans = Aryth Ocean, Sea of Storms, Shadow Coast Plains = Almoth Plain, Plain of Lances, Plains of Maredo Mountains = Mountains of Mist, Spine of the World, Kinslayer's Dagger Hills = Hills of Kintara, Black Hills, Caralain Grass Wastelands = Aiel Waste, World's End, Tarwin's Gap Forests = Braem Wood, Haddon Mirk, Forest of Shadows
Each character will receive a bonus when they are battling within their favored terrain type, which is determined by nationality.
Couple points. You may notice that Garen's Wall is missing from the list and Forest of Shadows has been added. This is the only change of the map from V4 to V5. All routes to/from Garen's Wall now are to/from the Forest of Shadows. The main reason for this was I needed a third Forest area to keep the number of terrain types even.
As for the "(to be updated)" at the end, I know exactly how it will be determined, but its based on something I haven't announced yet so I'll come back and update it as soon as I have. It will likely be either towards the end of this week or more likely early next week.

This sounds like a good idea to diversify the different areas. Looking forward for more explaination. Just one side thought: Could it not be possible to introduce Dragonmount as a wilderness area, replacing perhaps the Kinslayers Dagger? This is, unless you have plans regarding special/hidden areas.
Yeah, I'll update those in new threads as I get to them. I do have all the nationality bonuses figured out, just haven't announced them yet. As for Ogier, you can probably guess which terrain type they'd get a bonus in if you know the books and you think about it.
