I'm opening the test site up early (though really it is Monday somewhere...). You're welcome to those of you who will be happy by this and sorry to those who will be pissed. There is a method to my madness though...
I don't want you guys expecting rigid timelines and such with the test site. Resets will happen whenever they need to happen. Whether it's due to a game breaking bug or a big change that I make, I'm not going to wait on resets just so someone can finish what their doing or to make sure everyone is notified. I hate to say it, but having the test site is for mainly for my benefit so I can find as many bugs and work out as many kinks before launching the stable official release. If I working and the game needs reset 3 times in one night, then it'll get reset 3 times that night. I know I gotta let you guys get to the higher levels to test things out there (especially with the class system the way it is), but truth be told I'd be surprised if we make it through the first week without a reset being need. Honestly I wouldn't be shocked if things don't go 24 hours just based off past experiences (you guys that have been through this the last few times probably know what I'm talking about. Something's bound to happen).
In the past I haven't been this big of a hard ass about it (and trust me, I feel like an ass when I have to reset it on you guys without warning), but I gotta be a bit more firm this time around if I'm gonna get things done before I move (and trust me when I say that if that doesn't happen you likely won't see the official launch til June at the earliest). Not to scare you guys (at this point I'm feeling pretty good about a launch around the beginning of May), but that's the truth.
So with that rant over here it is:
lvlup.talij.com/
Don't break it too badly. I did cut back on the exp needed to level up (still starts at 100, but only goes up by 10 per level instead of 20), so you guys should be able to level up a bit faster. Right now this is just for the test site, but if it works it may stay in. We'll see.
P.S.: I changed the alt limit to 10 alts for the test site. Enjoy!
