i like the point system...but i think it would be cool if we could use some points to buy skills? the skills could be equiped and take points to use and be un-equiped later? i think defensive skills would be cool in that case...you could equip them when off line. or have one power skills that way?

Skills will be in for v3. And while the system I'm currently envisioning isn't exactly like that, I think it'll be close enough that you'll be satisfied. This is the hard part of working on the game. Most of the v2 Planning is done, so my brain is already moving on to v3. But I need to tie up all the loose ends for v2 first. Starting work on v3 is one of my biggest motivators to finish v2.

With battles now taking much longer than previous versions, I don't know if anyone else thinks this, but I would like to see them fought out a little longer if not completely, not cut short when people still have most of their health left...
Also I think that Stun/Speed might need to be rethought, it feels like if you don't have it, you lose or are at least currently at a huge disadvantage.

With battles now taking much longer than previous versions, I don't know if anyone else thinks this, but I would like to see them fought out a little longer if not completely, not cut short when people still have most of their health left... The big flaw with just letting all the battles play out is the case where two people with really high defense fight each other. If neither has a strong enough attack to damage the other, the battle would last forever. Went with 12 turns max as 1) it plays nicely with the speed/stun stuff as it's highly divisible and 2)It's not too long for those people who just want to burn through their battles and don't care about watching the results. I haven't messed with it much since, but is this still the case after my fix to stun on Friday afternoon? Prior to that it was severely (and accidentally) overpowered. As it sets now, for every 1 speed/2 stun you have, on something, it raise the item's value by 10%. This is meant to balance out the advantage of the extra attacks. There are some ways that people can setup their equipment to minimize this, but that's true for most stats.

Actually, it's FAAAR too long thank you! I think you should make an option in Settings so that we can disable battle info completely. God i hate it!

One thing about the stun i don"t think this is fair. Mat flails about wildly! Azouras is stunned for 9. Mat has 234 health and Azouras has 192 health. Azouras deals a respectable blow. Mat takes 33 damage. Poison wracks Mat's body for 6 damage. Azouras has 192 health and Mat has 195 health. Mat deals a respectable blow. Azouras takes 40 damage. Azouras is stunned for 10. Mat has 195 health and Azouras has 152 health. Mat flails about wildly! Azouras is stunned for 11. Poison wracks Azouras's body for 6 damage. Mat has 195 health and Azouras has 146 health. Mat surges forward. Azouras takes 59 damage. Azouras is stunned for 4. Poison wracks Azouras's body for 6 damage. Mat has 195 health and Azouras has 81 health. Mat's attack barely makes a scrape. Azouras takes 14 damage. Azouras is stunned for 10. Poison wracks Azouras's body for 6 damage. Mat has 195 health and Azouras has 61 health. Mat comes forward with a predictable attack. Azouras takes 13 damage. Azouras is stunned for 8. Poison wracks Azouras's body for 6 damage. Mat has 195 health and Azouras has 42 health. Mat attacks. Azouras takes 39 damage. Azouras is stunned for 6. Poison wracks Azouras's body for 6 damage. Mat has 195 health and Azouras has 0 health. Mat wins and takes 2,323 gold You found a Talisman of Dreadlords!

I'll have to look into that stun issue. I didn't think anyone would be able to get their stun this high this early on. Really, if they can get it this high ever there will be some issues though now that I look at it. If you're stunning someone for more than their speed, unlikely they'll get many turns... Might have to rethink part of this.
EDIT: And for now I'll likely be leaving the battle display as is. May change it in the future, but right now something like that isn't high on my priority list. Sorry. Maybe in v3 I'll add options to tweak this.

Ok. Tweaked the stun talismen to make them less powerful. I also put in place a check that if you stun your opponent for more than their speed, you only end up stunning them for their speed. This is only part of the fix. I also plan on adding a limit that no player may attack more than 3 times in a row.
My apologies to those with stun equipped right now, as your weapon stats have now been tweaked. Reset will be coming soon (was going to be this last weekend, but didn't have time to get much work done).

Just out of curiosity, do we have some base speed? I'm pretty sure that I don't have any items with speed on Tinto, so it would be very, very easy to stun her for more than her speed... lol (but after your fix, stun will do nothing against her, if there's no base speed! *evil laughter*)
EDIT: Oh, and Mat, you flailed about wildly twice there... I think you might need to work on your accuracy ;D

Base speed is 10. So I guess that does/will make you less/more vunerable to stun than you though, huh?

I really like the new way money is displayed. But I noticed when I went to the bank that we now have to do the math ourselves to figure how much gold we can put into the bank. I loved the prefilled fields before! *looks very desperate* Any chance we can get that back? Pretty please? (I will survive without it, but it was a nice thing!)
EDIT: Weird! Now it was there! But it really wasn't before, I promise! It said 0 in all the boxes, but when I tried to gradually add less and less of my open money, I eventually could. But now when I sold another talisman and went to the bank, there was a number filled out in one of the boxes.

Short answer: The bank teller hates you. Edit: I also wouldn't be too surprised if there was a real bug in there. Wrote that code pretty quickly late last night...
