Ah. Those were the good old days. Hopefully they'll return soon, but not to a "this game is painful to play" level.
Yeah, was gonna join Avalon, but by the time the next age started I was burnt out and needed a break (plus IIRC, it was my last semester of my senior year of college, which kicked my butt anyways).
Go Team!

Please don't make this game painful like the other one--one game like that is plenty for me. I see that you are adding stuff for V3. We will not be choosing a tool for hours on end again will we? That was an okay idea on paper, but it sucked to play it out...

LOL. No, not that. I'll keep it a surprise for now, though part of it has been mentioned somewhere on the site. Never said it officially, but hopefully you'll enjoy it when you see it.

As long as the fighting system stays relatively the same I'll enjoy most any add ons

I remember a time that Craig toyed around with making the battle system sorta like rock, paper, scissors, only with skills. We could try that. In seriousness, battle system likely won't change much in v3, other than the fact that there will be skills and more.... options.

Does that mean that you're bringing back the character classes too, or will it remain more the way it is? I think it works better like this, actually...

Ok. Code for vault sorting is there (sort by who's using it will come tomorrow), but vaults are now broken. Sorry. Reset will happen tomorrow night. Everything is ready for it, but I don't want to stay up putting out fires all night. You can sit and sort that vault though and look at all the pretty items. If your curious, anything that is added after this point will work, so if you donate something it's not lost (I think so at least...). Go Team!

Ok. Things appear to be in order now. New changes: - Vaults should be working and sortable (still working on sort by Location)
- Loopholes for trading with alts and buy alt's stuff in the market have been closed (I encourage you to try to get around these, though please let me know if you do).
- Added a check to limit alt creation. 3 chars per ip addy (though my other checks are a little smarter than this one, FYI, so I'll know if you end up with more than 3 unless you're REALLY careful). There are ways to get around this one with a little effort, so no encouragement on this one, though you can try to make a 4th if you want just to make sure my check works. I do have a mechanism set up for special circumstance (multiple people logging on from the same IP), but you really have to convince me this is the case, and even then you likely won't be able to trade with each other or get full xp for duels with each other. Them's the breaks.
Just a few more minor changes (a couple bugs to investigate further and some minor change suggestions that I plan to add if I have time) and V2 will be complete. Hope you all enjoy playing it as much as I've enjoyed making it!

just to let you know, the whole rounding thing or whatever that prevent you from equipping certain items that add up to your total amount still isnt fixed!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Will look into that too!
Actually, can you tell me what exactly you tried to equip?
EDIT: Nevermind. Figured it out and now am testing it. Hopefully will get to the bottom of it this time. First time I've been able to see it, so now I can toy with things to see what fixes it. Hopefully.

And there we are! That wasn't so bad. The issue was that when you had 2 items that added up to your total, it would add 1 more for the blank spot. The function that figures out how many points something is worth has a minimum of 1, so it decided the empty space was worth 1. Now it computes it like it does for the display.
*Checks that bugger off my list!*

Equip points: 120/120 good work!

The warning didn't work for me earlier about adding too many points to an item.

Hmm. Do you know which case it was (item points > 2/3rds your total points, or equiped points> total points
EDIT: Vaults now sortable by location, btw.

It was adding a tali to a sharpened stick. It would have made the stick worth 58 points or so, which would have made me unequip it, but I didn't see the warning. I also didn't use the tali. *shrugs*
Maybe I was mistaken, as it seems to be working now. Perhaps I did not have the stick equipped at the time...
