I know I'm gonna kick my butt later for doing this, but...
V2 Official Release: Sunday, January 11 at 7 PM CST
If you need to figure out what time that is from you time zone, I'm making this post at 9:15 AM CST, so you can work it from there it you want. Don't freak out if it's not out immediately at 7, as I will be resetting things manually, but it will be pretty darn close (possibly a few minutes early if I get antsy).
Go Team!

Stupid question, probably, but what will the link to the game be? The same as for v1? I'm posting about it on a different forum, and figured it would be great to get the people to join just in time for the official start

It will be the same as v1. gos.talij.com/I'll likely be working on the moving of stuff tonight or tomorrow night, so hopefully the reset for the official launch will go much more smoothly than it did for v1. V1 will be taken down at that point, as I only (currently) can have 2 SQL databases on my host, and I'll need one for testing purposes. If is upgrade my hosting service sometime I may add it back on though. We'll have to see. I'll probably also keep the alpha2.talij.com open as a redirect to the real site too for a while, just incase people get confused (I know I probably will...).

He is only one man, so he must be the Creator and the Dark One both, hellsangels...

Added the quote of the last paragraph from your link so those too lazy to click the link will know. With the changes to the schedule, I'm getting fairly close to having a stable enviroment for testing. With activity in v1 dwindling, I've decided I will make the test site public to all again before v2. Helped me find a lot of bugs and kept people interested. Just be prepared for things being somewhat unstable like they were before v1. The current v1 release will stay online for a while, though depending on activity may go offline after the test site is opened. I'll play that by ear, but promise to give about a weeks notice before it drops. Also will give some notice (not necessarily a week though) before the test site goes live. I would guess it should be sometime in the next couple weeks. Go Team! So here's the deal. I wrongly assumed that people understood that v2 would replace v1, so the announcement of v2 going live was meant as my announcement that v1 was going away. 5.5 days is "about a week" in my book, plus I had been dropping hints that it was immenent for week or so leading up to it. However, this was poor communication. Furthermore, a combination of me not thinking things through properly and a change of my weekend schedule forced my hand a bit. Was planning on being at home all weekend so I going to do some pre-launch moving around and database work Saturday and earlier on Sunday. Now I'm going to be out of town Friday night til likely 3-4pm Sunday, and though I may have some time over the weekend to get some work in I won't have the time I'd like to get things ready. To that end, there will be a pre-launch reset tonight sometime. As which point there will be some database restructuring and I will also change the official gos address (http://gos.talij.com/) to point to v2. alpha2.talij.com/ will change to simply a redirect to the main site. Keep in mind this is not the official launch and things will be reset again Sunday night as planned. Like I said in my previous post, I can't keep v1 around as I need the database it is using for the v3 testing. However, a promise is a promise and I will do what I can to keep it. When I do the moving tonight, I will change the address of v1 site to gosv1.talij.com/. Database will stay the same, so no data will be lost. It will stay up til at least next Wednesday (Jan 14th). At that point I'll set up my test site for v3 (address won't be available though until I am ready, probably a couple months out). I'll probably have enough on my hands at that point (making sure v2 is running smoothly, do some more planning for v3) that having a test site up would just be a distraction anyways. Go Team! EDIT: That I am, Jenlyn. Though Creator-in-Training & Dark One- in-Training is too much of a mouthful...

Is it? It shouldn't be. I tested it last night and it appeared to be working. EDIT: Still seems good to me. Are you having issues, or just curious?

I had thought most things were wrapped up and very little will change at this point mainly just catching any remaining bugs.
Out of curiousity, are you using the computer you created your char with? I had an issue where I automatically logged on using old cookies from v1 when I got on from my work computer. Had to log off then back on...
And what do you mean 'return an item'? You should be able to return things you took...

There are people in Amador, too. You can go there. I bounce back and forth, and so do some of the others. also, there are people scattered about a little bit.
