I've noticed a lot of repeating of suggestions lately, or at least things that are very similar to something else others have said. Makes replying to these threads redundant as well as makes it hard for me to find/remember the suggestions. I went through and cleared out some of the older threads, copying out all the suggestions from them first so I don't forget, and some were quite random. Most of us, including myself probably, have been guilty of some of these in the past, but this is more about future posts.
So here's a few requests from me to help make things easier on all of us:
So here's a few requests from me to help make things easier on all of us:
- Give your thread a Title that somewhat descibes the suggestion inside. That makes it easier for everyone to look and see what's been suggested.
- Try not to just lump unrelated ideas together into the same thread. Although this means more posts to make and read, it's a lot easier to reply to when the conversations are separate. Throwing out multiple unrelated ideas in a single post tends to cause for a few to be lost in the shuffle.
- Try to stay on topic! If a thread is about weapon stats, don't start talking about messages. Odds are your either your suggestion or the one the thread was supposed to be about will be dropped from the conversation.
- Look at what suggestions are out there before making a new thread. If someone already made a thread about clan shops, don't add a new one. If you have ideas to add to what's been posted, then post it there. If you have something to add to something from the old suggestion thread, then you can go ahead and make a new one, but maybe make a link pointing back to the other thread so people don't have to repeat themselves. I understand that due to past thread naming practices it could be easy to miss a thread about your topic, but please at least look first.
