V18.2 test site and official launch dates

When it comes to next version, I'm torn. I'm not ready do dive back in to coding major changes yet, but there are a few things that I'd like to tweak before next version. I also don't want to drag down the awesome levels of participation the game is having now with a long break between ages. So I've come up with a compromise.

The V18.2 test site, will launch this Saturday night, the 23rd at 9PM CDT (2AM the 24th GMT). It will be open for exactly one week, at which point there will be another reset and we'll go straight into the official age. During normal ages, donors are supposed to access to the test site a week early. Since there hasn't been a test site the last few ages, they haven't got that bonus, but I'll hold to it this time. And since the test site is only going to run for a week, it will only be open to donors this time. Sorry non-donors, but got to be fair to those that are generously supporting the site.

Right now, here's the changes that I have planned to make:

• Limit the amount of points in clan battles from support to 50% of the total points: Don't want to completely negate the power of having strong alliances, but also shouldn't have allies fighting the battle fully for you.
• Clan offices can now be abandoned: If a clan decides they no longer wish to have an office in a city, they can choose to abandon it. All items available in the clan's shop will be sold (as if you had clicked the button to sell them). The office will then be destroyed. The clan's Ji in total in the city will also be reduced by 10% as a penalty for walking away from that city. The clan will then be free to open a new office elsewhere, using the existing formula to determine the price of that office.
• Miscellaneous smaller tweaks: I have a list of a lot of little things that I'd like to change. As time allows, I'll pull things off that list. If there's anything small you think needs updated/changed, let me know ASAP and I'll consider putting it in.

I'll send out emails to donors when the test site is ready. I'll also send out a mass email to all forum members a week out from the official launch.

Updates update:
- Abandoning a clan office doesn't affect current Ji scores, but gives the clan a -500 penalty to their local reputation. Seemed more appropriate.
- I THINK I fixed it so city control should change immediately after a clan battle (if it changes) instead of an hour later. Didn't get a chance to really test that one though, so fingers crossed.

Was hoping to squeeze a few more in, but I'm a slacker as usual.
