The worst horde to this point was Torm. It was bad enough that KR deemed it pretty much unbeatable and let any city attacked by them die.
With these stats, there will be about 10 different hordes that will seem very similar to the Torm experience.
And yes, you are right, these changes negatively affect the Light side more than the shadow, and since last age showed the light is already playing with a bit of a handicap in the LB, this would make it worse.
You think you can get turn advantage on a horde with 100 stun, or deal much physical damage to a horde with 100 dodge?

Get 100 first strike (at least you'll get the 1st 3 before being stunned to death) or 100 accuracy. I still think I'll go with the 75% stats for now. Hopefully that gets us close to a balance of not skull-bashingly hard but still tough enough that your stats matter too.

don't forget that dodge has zero effect on taint damage and stun advantage is lessened when using taint damage as well. Even vs 83 torm I went between 6-6 and 7-5 for turns and was hitting between miss and 380 damage as melee per combat round. Makes for a frustrating battle, but not terrible. I'd be inclined to suggest changes to hordes than encourage different damage usages rather than flat out making melee only really more powerful against them, but I guess there's no simple solution to that one, thoughts?

Ok. Change in place that drops horde stats to about 75%. Technically I cheated a bit and just generate stats for an NPC that's level is 75% of the hordes level, but it works seems to work out pretty close.
Level 100 Mad Male Channeler example: Non-Horde Stats: 168-188 Damage 34-55 Block 100 Taint +50% Damage to Self +150% Damage
Horde Stats: 129-145 Damage 26-43 Block 75 Taint 114% Damage 38% Damage to Self
I'm leaning towards this being too big a nerf, but I'll let you guys try it for a few days and see how they go. Ideally, there would be some horde types that are harder for some builds than others. Torn and it's like should still be a pain for the straight damagers (which make them a pain in general since special damage doesn't stack nearly as high as straight damage can), but hopefully there will be builds better equipped to counter different horde types. Before it was easy since about 90% of the hordes had the exact same stats and NPCs have low enough health that speed and high damage can just mow over everything.
I've left some debug code on the NPC battle page to display the stats of your opponent for now. Hopefully it's not too annoying.
