Problem and solution below
Problem: Running GoS through Edge (under Win10) is really frustrating due to character lists not being able to load correctly, and page links appearing broken. This has been a MS product problem for years back through IE to it's creation, it just doesn't play nice with alot of webby stuff, unavoidable fact.
Example: Load 'all players' , select a player name to link to their bio, page will think for a couple of seconds and then reload the player list. If you click on the player name a second time, an error message pops up on a redirect screen saying such and such page doesn't exist. Most of the time. Occasionally it works.
I don't log on/off/on different accounts, I have up to now run chrome, firefox and edge, each with an incognito window as needed for additional characters, however the problems with Edge made me seek an alternate solution without going and installing Opera, Torch etc ... I don't even want to run Firefox tbh, I just have in the past.
So the solution - some folks might be aware already, but Chrome can store multiple user profiles within it, each creates it's own cache, much like independent login profiles. These profiles can be local profiles or set up linked to a google account, if you want your browser stuff to be able to move between devices, but that's neither here nor there ... In Chrome 'settings' you are able to add additional user profiles, and once there are >1 profiles embedded within Chrome, it allows the magic to happen.
Just open a new instance of chrome, swap to one of your extra created profiles, and voila, separate cached logins. Separate everything. Pin it to your taskbar and it's like having another browser installed, only it's just Chrome.
For those of us that like to have 6 separate windows available with all of our characters, it's great. If you didn't know about this, hope it helps, and if you did then you probably haven't bothered reading this far anyways
