Um i was thinking if this could be implemented? In the book there is boat trading with the rivers, like could be have rafts and boats and rivers and fishing and stuff of that nature for trading? and there could also be bonuses for cargo-master, and the boat-mistress, for being on the boat/ raft.
Including the thief could have the ability to attack them and all people for add bonus on ships for a single item for loot.
Any thoughts?

We do have this to a smaller extent. Shipping Offices are similar to what you're talking about, but they're only for the coastal cities and don't do quite as much as you're thinking. However, Tim did have plans to expand trading in the game at one point. Estates send goods to Cities and this was going to be used for it, similar to the Shipping offices. I can't remember if these were his ideas or the communities ideas at this point, but the ideas I remember were to have a similar thing to the shipping profession with land routes instead and be able to move those goods, or even the minerals and food stuffs from mines and farms around too. We also just had a cool idea in SL chat a couple days ago that I think could also be used. Sevane made a joke about moving inventory from Chachin's shop to Maradon. That might be cool to be able to buy a bunch of HMBs as a peddler and take them to Rhui and sell them to a clan or something to put in the shop. Maybe, these items are then able to be purchased by all the clan offices, regardless of who has what Ji there, and are first come first serve. If no one buys them, they can be taken to a new city or something. As far as Fishing, I see this as being a hybrid of Shipping and Mining/Gardening etc. Pick a raft, choose a fish to find, come back a few hours later, sell the fish, repeat. This would then have to be limited to cities with major rivers or near the ocean, which would upset the balance of 3 unique businesses split among 24 cities. Which means that we would then need Tim to give us 8 more Cities. It's a cool idea, but I don't think it would be easy to add without messing with other stuff. Do you have any specific ideas that would make it better than that? What I really like about this idea though, is the Classes having an effect on Businesses. Sail Mistresses should be able to shorten times on Trade missions. Cargo Masters should make more money on them. Tree Singers should be able to grow crops faster or Healthier. But again, we'd need the same balance for Mines and Kitchens and Breweries, and none of the other classes make sense for that.

Maybe for the Mines, Weave focus and a certain strength of Earth could help?

Would love having classes affect professions.
Then again, my dream for the game is that you use turns for professions too and that you can play characters without fighting

you know, i just thought that KRs idea of moving shop inventory can already be done. the market is completely set up for this. just get the merchant profession and off you go. silver bows now available in maradon!. if you use a couple of alts then the sky's the limit lol. unless im completely missing something.

Yeah, that actually would work. Maybe I'll run a merchant alt some time.
