This is one of the bigger coding changes I'll be making this version. It's been put off for a while because while they are important I wouldn't say messages are an integral part of the gameplay. Still, they are past due for some updates so the time is now. The biggest change from my perspective is that the messages are getting their own database. This will give me a lot more freedom in how messages are retrieved and updated. While this probably doesn't mean anything to you, you do get to reap the benefits.
For one: Outbox! In addition to your normal inbox, you'll now be able to access messages that you have sent. You'll be able to save 30 messages in your outbox and clean them up just like you would your inbox. In addition to that, when writing up a reply to a message, the message you're replying to will be displayed below the text box you write your message in.
Another change: no more multiple pages of messages! All of your messages will be displayed without having to reload the page as you go through multiple pages of old messages. At least that's the plan. I haven't fully tested that yet to see how much a full box of real messages slows the page load down, but I think it should be fine.
