GoS V8.2 Launch! - 11/17/11

Hi all.

I'd like to announce that GoS will be reset on Thursday, November 17th at 8PM CST for V8.2. This will be a 'fun' version, with no major changes from V8 only some minor tweaks to make things interesting.

Changes for V8.2:
- Experience needed to level up will be be halved, so you'll gain levels twice as fast!
- Double battles. You get 4 new turns per hour and will be able to store up to 400!
- No alt characters. Limit 1 character per player. (Can work with you if you have multiple people on the same internet connection. Will have to convince me though. )
- Degrading Clan Ji. Every hour, all clan's Ji score in each town will go down by .04% (rounded to nearest .01 Ji). This is to test an idea for next version to see if it helps make it more difficult to hold onto multiple towns.

As will V8, all members will get donor bonuses still, though things will go back to normal for V9. Also like last time, the initial number of turns you start with will be staggered for the first 20 hours after launch, meaning anyone who joins in the first 20 hours after launch will end up with the same number of battles to use total.

That would be me... Initially I was a Forsaken.I also was a Mutt, but that was mostly when I played WoE. In GoS my main focus was on the Storm Legion (as imperator in the end) and on the CoL alliance I was also part of another clan with an alt, can't remember the clan name but Cumadrin led it.

Thanks a million Tim, I'd been thinking about coming back for a while but I couldn't remember the URL, then when i got the email I favourited it instantly!

For the life of me I cant remember cumas old clan (something with crows or ravens?). We talked for about a year or so after gos, he found another game, which played with cards and battles and some really good combo. after a while he became an admin/staff member. i cant remember the name of the game, but if i do i'll fill you in.

Note to all people with more than one person that wants to play from the same internet connection: I can fix it so you both (or more) can play even though alts aren't allowed in 8.2 once it launches. Fix will be done on a case by case basis. Send me a message either here or in game after the reset (from the one account you guys can make) and we'll talk. You'll have to convince me though that there actually are multiple people trying to play, not just one person wanting multiple accounts. Multiple personalities don't count.

After that it's a pretty easy to fix. Couple ways for me to get around it.

Ok. Game launched, but there was an issue that needed resolved. Was a bug with degrading Ji and support. Fixed it, but caused a reset 3 hours after launch. So if you made a character within the first 3 hours, you'll need to recreate. Sorry!
