Wish you could get those nifty bonuses that the donor's get, but can't/don't want to actually donate? Well here's your chance!
I'm sure you all know that there is a Wiki for GoS, and it's sadly out of date on a lot of topics. One of the biggest areas I feel I need to work at is better explaining things: everything from basics of how to play the game to advanced stratagies to lists of equipment and skills. If all this information was up to date on a Wiki (which all players are pointed to when they create a character), I think the game would be a lot more accessable.
So here's the deal: I'd much rather be working on coding new additions to the game and getting V5 ready for launch than updating a Wiki. So I'm offering basically $5 of donor credit to anyone who makes significant improvements to the Wiki between now and March 14th. I'll be the judge of what's significant, but it will be more than few small posts or changes, and only what I deem as valuable additions will count (don't just advertise your clan or post spam ). If anyone really goes above and beyond, I may give out more credit, but we'll have to see.
Please to use information that will be applicable to V5. A lot of this can be found in the V5 Countdown threads, or just by playing around on the Test site. Any questions on things you'd like to post about feel free to ask me (this thread works, or a PM).
To keep track of who's been updating what, please post in this thread AFTER making changes to the Wiki. I believe you have to create an account on the wiki site to make changes, but it's free. The Wiki itself tracks who makes what changes, but I'd rather not have to try to figure out what users there match to users here.
This offer is also available to those of you who have already donated. More credit will go towards more versions of bonuses.
Go Team!
