I do agree that I like how the weaves get stronger as you level up, but being able to use my left over equip points toward weave damage would be sweet.

I think that will help too. Someone (ff or tinto I think, though I could be wrong) had a suggestion for this quite a while ago that I've been tweaking around with trying to find a good way to make it work for the last few versions, but its one of those cans that keeps getting kicked down the road. Not sure about opening it up globally though, as I'm always up for ways to keep you guys moving. Adding a 'last active' column on the view clan members page for clan leaders only should be a really simple code change, so don't be surprised if go that way. Automated messages would be nice, but could get annoying and would be more difficult to add. Yeah, if nothing else maybe I'll just change the link to point to your map. Yeah, I thought I had things pretty balanced, but of course on the test site people never got much past 30 so I didn't get to see how off it gets. Will have to keep tweaking things. If you're gonna win about everytime exploring, then that negates the XP benefit of dueling. The reward for item quests is 120% or 125% of the value of the items (can't remember which exactly off the top of my head. So if you go to a store and buy the items then deliver them right away, it's a quick way to make a buck. But when you're dealing with the cheap items at later levels, it's not really worth it. Those are definately getting reworked in V5. The NPC quests seem about right to me and based on the feedback I've seen so far. Could be. Or if you just hit the back button after hunting it will still show up then. I used taint or point consumables at low levels a lot, but admittedly didn't use them much at higher levels. I tried to base most off percents so they do effect higher level players more, but as you put this makes most of them less than worth it to low levels. I'm reluctant to make the percent settable or just use all the remaining points because then channelers would basically never have to worry about equipment. At least this way you still need have some points to use up most of the time (unless you're using Powersurge...). I have considered making weaves usable in your offhand too though, sorta like knives. I'll probably start a poll about stat balancing later on, as there are some that probably aren't quite balanced yet. The fact that you guys disagree makes me think that I'm getting pretty close. Granted if I were to throw some new stats in to the mix that need balancing... I have a list of bugs ready and waiting for me to fix. Yeah, if I combine them it will probably be much like this. Most of the posts on the town boards seem to be of the "Item X is now available in the shop" or postings of duel results. If I do combine the town boards, I'll probably move the boards off the actual Town page. My only fear about that is that I'd be WAY to easy for someone to spam and effectively erase everyone else's posts. Would have to add some sort of restriction...

Alright, using the leftover Equip points for weave damage, although that would be sweet, does kind of make things a little unbalanced for channelers. I do like the idea of being able to use it in the off hand like knives though. I would like to be able to use a bow or a sword and channel.

I guess kinda what I was thinking with weaves would be that since they can't be tali'd, your incentive to scrounge other gear would be to add tali stats to the non-weave stuff you're using.

One more thing that I just remembered, either when I am exploring or hunting and I find a weave power, when I click the info on it on the battle screen, the correct information does not display. I have to go into my inventory to find the correct information about the weave. This doesn't bug me, but it is a glitch.

True, but once you get the tali's you want you'd be set. Plus I'm not sure this would be enough incentive for lazy people. Like you pointed out, you were one of the few to keep dueling as long as you did when everyone else switched to exploring. Yep, that needs fixed. Must have forgot about that link when I updated all the other item info links to handle scaled weaves.

well i just have to say. i ONLY hunt npcs. not because its easier but because im a clan leader and clans need money to upgrade shops, clan upgrades and stuff like that. it cost a HELL of a lot of gold (which it should, dont change that unless u make it more expensive) but i dont have time to dual others. i have probably donated 1000 gold pieces with my 3 alts and we STILL need more money. and hunting npcs is the fastest way to get it for my clan.

one thing that has always bugged me is you cant see what you get for your class upgrades before you pick it, i would really like to see what bonus you get for each class upgrade before i decide on which to pick
i think the idea about market items not taking up inventory space is awsome and might solve the problem or at least help cuz i know thats a pretty big deterrent for most people.
global chat would probably make the game alot more fun, people would get more involved. and i really really like the idea of having a last log on date

i didnt like the fact that there is no big bennifits to the war horse i think that it should add some dmg/def only for the war horse tho since in the book it said a good war horse was as deadly as any weapon

What if as the weaves get stronger as the character gets stronger, they also go up in gold value? I think that would be pretty cool.

there is no real distinction on weather or not you are a darkfriend, im not really sure what you can do to help since it wont do to have darkfriends at too big of an advantage/ disadvantage but it would be nice to see some things that only darkfriends can get and some things that they cannot get, it really wouldnt make a huge difference for battle but it would give the illusion that there is a difference between the two

I don't think weaves should be bought or sold period. They should be earned through quests or taught by an NPC or something.

Problem with that is then there's the possibility that people (or more easily with clans) could use low level characters to buy weaves and trade them to higher level players, selling them for a profit overall. Yeah, I agree that kinda sucks. I'm planning on trying something a little different next version. Not sure how I feel about it, but we'll see how you guys like it.
