I'm Correlian Falcon. Have been since Craig made the first one. Have led Guild of Power since the first one. Then his went offline and these pulled up. Why isn't anyone active though?

Hey Falcon!
All the activity right now is over at the test site for V4 (viv.talij.com), though even that's kinda quite. I expect things to pick up a little later this week/early next week in the wind up to the new release. Some who are inactive now I suspect is due to them not wanting to put the effort into making a character they know will be deleted shortly during the resets in the next 10 days.
New release launches 10/10 (time TBD)!
Hope you enjoy the site and good to have you back! Let me know if you have any questions about the changes.

Awrightie. Thanks. You've added some interesting stuff. I don't quite understand the new skill setup or what being a darkfriend or not gets you.

A basic description of the skill system can be found here. If you look at these two threads, it has links to others about most of the changes from the last V3 and what's coming in V4 (most of which is live on the test site now). As for darkfriends, it really doesn't do too much right now. Only difference is you battle some different NPCs in some wilderness areas and your name is red to others. There will be more to it later on (hopefully in V5), but right now it doesn't affect much.

I must admit I don't care for the NPC stuff all that much but with limnited players I can understand it. Thanks for the links.

Yeah, in an ideal world NPCs wouldn't be needed, but with limited players it was either that, or make experience gained much less effected by levels and go back to everyone in a single location. I still prefer stressing PVP though, hence that gives you more xp.

The take over towns and clan warfare is by far the coolest I have seen. I hated in the older games that influence is who led the clan. But since I've always led Guild of Power I actually grew to like that. Thumbs up though on the clan stuff.
