As part of my continuous quest to balance things, a few stats are getting some minor tweaks for V4. One is a less minor than the others. - Points cost for poison will be reduced by about half. Did some calculations and realized I was indeed over compensating.
- Points cost for defense will be reduced slightly. It still costs slightly more than damage, but it's much closer now. Hopefully that will make armor a bit more worth while.
- 'Gold Steal' is changing to 'Luck'. With the addition of exploration, gold steal became even more worthless than it was. Most of people's income comes from drops, not stealling from other players, and when you're exploring you don't steal gold anyways making it pointless.
Luck will continue to effect gold steal rate the same way Gold Steal did. However, it will also effect your chances of getting an item drop after a NPC battle. It should also be noted that I've cut back the frequency of the drops in general (hoping to balance the money out a bit), so being able to boost the rate of finding items after exploring could be quite good for your wallet. And with consumables available to temporarily raise stats, that little bit in your wallet might come in handy.

I very much welcome poison's price cut, and I like Luck very much too. Just be careful not to overpower Luck because it looks like it's going to be a main stat.

Agreed on the concerns for Luck. For now I've left it's cost the same as gold steal was, but I have an inkling in my head that I'll have to raise it. It's probably the hardest stat to 'price', as it doesn't actually effect your chance of winning the battle...

I think weaves need a stat boost. as Talismans cannot be used on them.
