I have a few different tali combinations that I use each day and I think the most annoying thing is getting attacked during a switch from one set to the next.
That being said would there be a way to designated a second 'set' of talis that could all be switched at the same time via a button?
I think that later in the game this might be something that a lot more people would need because of the large amount of different combinations that all can be effective.

So like saving your current equipment selection and setting it to say 1 of 5 slots, or maybe just 2 depending, 3 might be nice. Must reek havoc on your storage space though.

I think that it could be something that you purchase, takes up an inventory slot that you can assign items to so when you equip it, it switches out for what you want in just one click.

better yet have it setup as storage item from the blacksmith. It would be something you purchase specifically for an extra armor setup it would only increase your storage by 3 and limit it to 2 different purchases. sort of like a sub backpack or a subfolder on a directory tree. also the price should be equal to about something a lvl 25 could afford and the second at something a lvl 50 could afford. hehe and of course set it up so that you can press setup one or setup 2 for the outfit change

This all seems pretty complex for such a small issue. What if I just changed it so you could select multiple items to equip at the same time (like cache and sell)? That too will take a bit of work (probably won't make it in V3), but would be much simpler than adding separate storage space or saving off other equipment groups.
