In Shops - How Much Can I Spend?

Currently, to make a purchase, it's Shop (how much is it), Profile (how much I got, need), World>Bank (get more money), Profile (did I do the math right and get enough), and finally Shop (make the purchase).

for just the 'handy' level of coolness, it'd be great if cash-in-hand was shown at the top of the Shop page, so you knew how much you had accessible at the moment. That'd eliminate the repeat visits to Profile.

for the extra-extra-handy upgrade, follow the cash-in-hand display with the bank-funds display-and-access piece from World>Bank. that'd make shopping a one-stop visit, rather than running around all over town, fighting inconsiderate drivers, traffic lights, long lines, surly tellers, etc... errrr, at least the running around part...

Well, you can sort of estimate the cash-in-hand by seeing which items are red (can't buy) and which aren't (can buy), and then see where that cut-off is. If the shop is well upgraded, you can narrow it down pretty well. And just don't use the bank, keep all your cash in your pocket, that will save you the trip to the bank *sweet smile, pretending that I won't be stealing any gold*

EDIT: To have your pocket money and bank totals displayed on the shop page (and even better, at the stables and blacksmith's!) would be real nice, though

I think that having a few personal stats ALWAYS in background would be very handy. That'd be: Gold in hand, Current levl and % levl up, and maybe n° of items in inventory.

It would be nice to have # of items in inventory and % to levl up on the attack page.

I agree that it would be useful to have some bio info handy on other pages. Less clicking on your end means 1) less tediousness for you and 2) less strain on the servers (which should help lead to less down time and letting the site run faster...). The trick will be including the minimum amount of helpful info without cluttering all the pages up or making the layout look bad.

I (likely with Ed's help on layout stuff) will see what I can do.

Likely a small strip of info centered right above the shop items, to the right of Shop of "City", containing Gold on hand and possibly Gold in bank would be very helpful and keep the clutter down significantly........

That'd just be for the shop page though. Some info would be useful to be displayed on almost all pages. We'll have to talk privately about what will and won't work.
