Slow going so far. Needed a bit of a break between 1 and 2, so I haven't done much yet, but I think I'm getting ready to start digging in and actually doing some non-bugfix work.

Sorry for being a little lax here lately. Honestly not that I'm losing interest for all you nay sayers out there. Just been busy as hell really. I hope to get some work done soon. New weapon system is coming along a bit though.

Updated: Got some more weapon system changes in last night. The new duel script is written, but not fully tested as the new weapons aren't setup yet. Also did some planning for changes to lighten the server load a bit (less needed viewing of the bio page mainly, as it's the page that gets hit the most often). Good for you as it should speed up your play (less pages to scroll through to do stuff and it will use less server resources so there should be a slight speed improvement (though likely not significant enough that you'll really notice...).
Current plan: Get new weapon system up and running, then tackle a few UI changes before work begins on character classes. Possible Reset with some of the new changes put in before character class work gets done, just to keep things lively. Only issue with that is that the current skill system won't play nicely with the new weapon system, so if that 1.5 release does come with weapon system changes, you'll have to deal with no skills. Sorry.

Progress updated. Game reset due to some changes that were made (mainly the ip logging changes I've been working on the last few days).
Other things tweaked: poison's cost went up, exp bonuses for top 10 and defeating a defender dropped down to 2 (from 3), and amount of exp needed to level up went up slightly (so it takes more than a week to get to level 40...).

There may or may not be another reset of the test site before v2 goes live. V2 is nearing completion. The tricky question is how much time I'll have to work on it over the holidays. I'd expect early January for the v2 release.
