I was thinking of a couple of format changes to the user screen to reduce the amount of time switching from screen to screen. Is there enough room on the town screen to allow the clan's comments to fit next to the town comments? Just reducing the amount of space between the "member" name and the text would free up a considerable amount of room. Possibly, shift the World map to the left? Also, it would make for a lot less scrolling if the order of both the comments on the town and clan chat along with the order of your inventory to read from top down instead of (bottom up) on the newest posts/items. I think I am getting carpal tunnel from all the scrolling Would this if any, reduce the amount of strain on the host server, by reducing the number of server requests?

clan is clan. comments should be there, not beside town comments. reversing order is not needed, press the [End] button on your keyboard if you are too dang lazy to scroll down 10 posts. but I agree that "Town" should need some changes, but I'm sure that Tim already plans to do changes there. real buttons for shop etc.

Yeah, I agree that the site needs some UI (User interface) changes pretty badly. I've been largely ignoring them for now, but I do have some things planned. I don't think I'll merge the town and clan chat boards, as I think it would get too cluttered. Plus I think there'd be too much info at the top of the page with both town and clan info on the same page. Plus I'd have to figure something out for those that aren't in clans.
I do plan on changing the site layout a bit, hopefully for v2 (though it is towards the bottom of the list for it). Hopefully I'll be able to get at least some of it in. There are somethings that just bug me (like having to go to the bio screen to log out)

fain, you are missing the point that I was trying to bring up. The game should be imho; intuitive for the user, especially the newcomers. You and Tim bring up exactly some not so insignificant annoyances that I find about playing the game. It is just as important, if not more important for players to be viewing the Clan board (when they actually are a member) without having to continuously bring it up to view. The same can be said about the Personal Message (notice I did not say IM). Currently, the Town boards are mainly filled with Ctrl C/ Ctrl V duel results, that gets old. If this game is trying to evolve into more of a strategic battle game, then the communication and user UI aspect also needs to evolve. And I for one would prefer to see what is going on in the Clan, even if the board is duplicated from the main board. If something important came up, then you would go to the Clan page.
A side suggestion would be on the actual Clan page; not sure if this is too difficult to implement, have a list of the online members and location to assist the Leaders/Sub-Leaders and other members. For one reason off the top of my head would allow players to guide one another to like leveled characters instead of wandering all over The Breaking looking for them.
The ideas are meant to be mulled over, modified, and implemented when the opportunity arises, even if it is two versions down the road.
