Looking back at this after I've finished, I feel I need to make something clear: DON'T PANIC! (Grab a towel!) It looks like I don't have anything done yet, when really I just don't have much finished. My goal is before the site launches to donors to have the Horde and Escort quests fully working, at least have the ground work for Support quests done, and maybe make a start on the City Upgrade changes. Some of the items will probably even change before the night is done. Things will be in an even better state once the test site get's open to all, so yeah: Don't panic. Also, just because I'm posting this doesn't mean the CD is over. There's a few items above I haven't fully explained yet and possibly some items that aren't even on the list yet. More info still to follow, but I wanted this out before the test site so people know what to expect.

Don't worry. I probably will. Made some updates. Probably all I'm going to get done pre-launch. Still have to finish doing some last minute testing and prep for launch. Go Team!

You will need to add Escort to Quest Types on the Heroes page, too.

Ok. So we're now a couple months into my "about one month" of testing I had planned of this age. Stupid RL. Between work being crazy busy again, kids that take up more and more time (in a good way mostly), house maintenance (my basement flooded again and now we're back to yard work season again), I just haven't been able to find the spare time to put into GoS lately. And what spare time I do get goes elsewhere, as it's hard to motivate myself to come home and do more coding after 9 hours of coding at work all day.
But enough slacking. Time to get this version out the door, as it's been TOO long since we had an official release.
My plan is by the end of this weekend to knock out as much of what's on my list here as possible. Some things I've announced for this version may get pushed to next version, but I'm hoping to keep that to a minimum. After this weekend, we'll be in prep for launch mode, so expect a launch date to follow shortly (depends on how this weekend goes).
Go Team!

That's a lot of juggling, even for a Creator! Glad all is well and looking forward to seeing the next version

Don't let the game become a chore that burns you out. The beta has gone on too long, but it's better to have a long beta than for you to begin subtly resenting the game and its player base for time consumption and relentless demands.

Progress updated above. Good news: Finished everything related to estate goods and city upgrades is finished and SEEMS to be working. Bad news: I'm pushing Support quests to next version. It's just too much of a tangled web to try and shove in quickly at the end of things. Stinks as I really wanted that feature, but it is what it is.
Still have a few odds and ends left, but this means things are most of the way finished then. Still need to figure out when exactly the launch will be, but it will be one of the next 3 weekends. PROBABLY looking at the 14th-15th, but nothing is settled yet. Will let you know.
Go Team!

Definitely don't rush. Too many pc and console games get rushed out of beta and that always turns sour
