just noticed that Jerechai's message center says "One message stored (2%)" even though there are 9 messages there currently...

Does it say this all the time, or just after you send a message? I think there's a bug that it shows the count for the person you send the message to instead of your own count.

It's showing correct now, so prob is just after sending...
but - clan member King Richard is having problems with his messages. His 'status' line up top will say that he has one or two messages, but none appear in the list area for him to access. I know he has real messages, because I've been sending some to him. Says it happens the same in IE and Firefox...

I had 9 Messages saved from AlMordre, but then one time when I logged in, it said I only had 1 and there aren't any there. I tried sending a note from an alt character, but it did not appear. The alt doesn't seem to be having problems recieving messages though.

Hmm. Not sure what happened, Richard. Looked at the database and you only appeared to have 1 message, and it seemed corrupted (message was null, which is bad). I cleared it out so hopefully you'll be able to get messages again now. Not sure what happened to the old ones though. Sorry.
Keep me posted if you have any more issues. Hopefully I'll be able to get to the bottom of this.

same thing just happened to me - on a page load, message scroll lit up, clicked it - empty message center - had 45, all gone now. 'stored' line and bio page say one message present, but there's nothing there in the inbox...

Ok. I believe the two of you should be fixed now. Fearless looked to cleared already, but I sent you a test message to confirm see if it works. Almordre, there was an issue what was stored in the database for you. Was simple to fix, but unfortunately not sure what caused it. Will continue to look into the issue.
I know there are others experiencing this problem. For now, I recommend trying to clear your messages, as that might alleviate the issue. If not, post in this thread and I'll try to clear it up.
Sorry for the problems this issue may be causing.

Thanks, Tim - looks to be working again. I tried the 'discard all' a couple times, but that never freed up the problem. I think Mat Cauthon had the same issue as me, several weeks ago - his messaging has been dead for a while. might be another clue there?

I'm having this same problem with one of my alts now too. Wil Garand. It's not a big deal, as I usually don't chat with others while running him, but if you have time and want to look at this problem again, it's there. If you'd rather focus on Version 5 stuff, I don't think anyone will complain. It's not like I don't have plenty of other alts to get my messages.

having a chat tonight, and the other player's message center bricked, and when I tried to send a reply to his alt, Kev's bricked again as well. quite possible we were each being dueled about the same time as sending/receiving messages - could there be some "collision" in the database accessing that's breaking the messages?
