I just noticed my clan lost the 1st vault upgrade. I think that's due to the unability to pay the hourly upkeep: when you cant pay it, the system takes 1 upgrade off you. But I thought I might report it just in case this was not supposed to happen. In either case, the bug is that our vault didn't actually get reduced. It still displays 59 items, when it should have gone down to 50.

I'm thinking that its not so much a bug as it is me being generous (or not wanting to deal with a complicated issue...). When you can't pay your clan upkeep, it should reduce the level of your highest upgrade by 1. If this happens to be the vault, it should indeed reduce the max size of your vault by 10. The tricky issue is what to do if the clan has more items than the new max (like 59 instead of 50)? I could have clan items be lost, but that could be particularly harsh depending on what items are taken (expensive or equipped by a member). I could try to take only cheap or unused items, but what if all the items are being used (unlikely, but technically possible). What's a fair way to choose who loses their clan items? I couldn't think of one with out adding TONS of unnecessary overhead stuff to keep track of and calculate, so I didn't mess with it.
So I THINK the way it should work is that you keep all the items in your vault, but you should not be able to add any new items as long as your size is >= the max (ie, until you clear your vault down from 59 to at least 49, you won't be able to add anything new). Make sense?
I'll take a look though just to be sure that this is what's happening here and it's not actually a bug.

Yeah probably it does be the better way to have the clan penalized without compromising the members' own gears. It happened again, by the way, and we lost another 1g upgrading back, so I hope we've learnt the lesson by now... Thanks!
